Le restaurant J. Gilbert est un steakhouse chic et décontracté qui vous sert du bœuf vieilli de première qualité cuit sur un grill au feu de bois de mesquite. Vous pourrez y déguster une panoplie de coupes de boeuf, des fruits de mer frais (y compris leurs croquettes de crabe primées) et d'autres spécialités de la maison, telles que les croustilles Maytag Bleu et le gâteau au chocolat velvet.     We’ve been going here for many years and it’s always been excellent. Last night the waitress was ok just all business like. My husbands filet was over cooked. We had another couple with us that had never been there before. Not sure they’d go back. We definitely will. It was just an off night I guess.

    I will preface my review by saying have been dining here for a couple years now. The reason why I come back time after time is the consistency in quality of the food. With that being said, I think that I won’t be back here for a while. While good, everything here is way overpriced, it’s almost annoying. The last time couple times I came was only because of a bday coupon that I am emailed, only to find out that it doesn’t work on the day that I was there. They make the coupons impossible to use due to multiple restrictions around when it can be used. My last visit here made me realize that while the food is good, it is way overpriced and not worth it. If you go for only apps and drinks you’ll be lucky if you leave with a bill less than $100. There Multiple restaurants close by where your dollar will go further.
