Le restaurant J. Gilbert est un steakhouse chic et décontracté qui vous sert du bœuf vieilli de première qualité cuit sur un grill au feu de bois de mesquite. Vous pourrez y déguster une panoplie de coupes de boeuf, des fruits de mer frais (y compris leurs croquettes de crabe primées) et d'autres spécialités de la maison, telles que les croustilles Maytag Bleu et le gâteau au chocolat velvet.     Server (Caleb C) was extremely helpful and nice. Food was outstanding, as usual. The only thing is that the rewards (for birthday) is only $25.00, even though the price of the meals have gone up.

    Our dinner at J Gilbert’s in Glastonbury was amazing! We enjoyed everything immensely in front of the warm fireplace. Our server chatted us up to ensure he got a good tip which he did indeed. However, after paying our bill he acted like he didn’t know us. He passed my husband several times while he waited for me from the restroom and no smile, no thanks again for coming, no nothing. J Gilbert’s should send him back to customer service training, especially for an upscale place like that. We will remember that next time we go in.

    Great food as always. Abraham was our waiter and he made this a truly exceptionally experience. We always enjoy the food and atmosphere and Abraham added to the experience with great recommendations and a service level that exceeded our expectations.

    Everything was absolutely excellent. And had an exsquisit bottle of wine on discounted wine Mondays which I was not aware of. I would recommend this for a very very nice dinner out for anyone.
