Fantastic location to watch the sunset while sipping a cocktail. Coconut shrimp and pizza were yummy!

The ribs were mediocre - billed as seen on Diners, Dives and Drive-in. The issue that we found absurd - they charged us a 3% fee to use a credit card. You can use a credit card at McDonald’s without a fee. Might seem like a small issue but we won’t be back and we are in Kona for a month.

Try to eat upstairs as the car noise can be loud. Upstairs is quiet and peaceful.

A must visit place on the island for breakfast. The Macadamia Nut pancakes are to die for!

We were seated on the 2nd floor with a wonderful view of Kona Bay. We ordered the pineapple upside down French toast, the fresh fish Benedict, and a latte. The latte never came until midway through our meal. When the two breakfast meals came, I received scrambled eggs and a piece of mahi. I had to track down my server Tomomi T to tell her I didn’t get what I ordered. She apologized and returned in about 3 minutes with another plate and set it down in front of me. She turned to go when I called back to her that this was still not what I ordered. It was a regular Benedict, not the fresh fish Benedict. She then took it away and finally returned with my correct order, proving the 3rd times the charm. Although we experienced this hiccup, the food we finally ate was extraordinary. When we received our bill, there was no attempt to provide a discount or credit for the service and order problem, only a very quick apology from Tomomi.

Delicious dinner with lovely ocean view in casual island atmosphere. Enjoyed fresh mahi-mahi entree and burger and fries. All employees were friendly, helpful and they were willing to accommodate my food allergy restrictions preparing the fish. If you are parking a car, park behind restaurant but go to restaurant to validate your free 90 minute parking first; do not pay for parking through QR code options posted in parking lot. You need car license plate information. (Grateful for hostess sharing this parking tip as parking posters are confusing and could have been an unnecessary costly mistake.)
