The food was exceptional, the ambience wonderful. What a romantic setting for a first date. Most importantly, the waitstaff allowed my date and I plenty of time to talk, get acquainted. We were never rushed through dinner like most places do. I'll definitely go back. One last thing, valet parking is available through the attached hotel and is free with validation. All-in-all, a very positive evening.

We had a wonderful dining experience. The food was top-notch as was service and ambience. However, I lived in France for a year and it’s definitely not a French restaurant.🤣

That was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had!!! Terrible food, pretty mediocre service. The total for three people was almost $100 for three egg breakfasts. Worst experience ever ! Just a tourist trap!

Took guests to ISA's bistro after raving about the Asheville food scene. Very disappointed. The menu was unimaginative, 3 of the 5 menu items ranged from tasteless to ordinary. The pork chop was actually very acceptable but the Chimichurri tips were totally tasteless. The Oysters Rockefeller was made with very old spinach. And stay away from the Snowball whatever on the dessert menu. AWFUL, tasted like the freezer it came out of. Had the food been cheap, I probably would not bothered writing the review, but the prices are right up there with other really good Asheville restaurants and this doesn't even remotely come close to good. To be honest I'm surprised it's still in business. All that said, the server was lovely and the only reason I didn't give ISA's 1 star.

Went at 5 on a Sunday evening and hardly a soul here, which made us wonder about the place. Was looking forward to the pretty patio but the wooden slatted and metal chairs were too uncomfortable so we moved indoors. One server for the 8 or so tables of customers (which were spread out inside and on the patio) and she was clearly struggling to keep up. Was really surprised that as an upscale restaurant, no bread or like item was offered while we waited for the food. The pork chop was good but the ravioli had way too much ricotta. Ordered drinks as dessert and waited a good while for someone to go the bar and actually make the drinks. The drinks were then left sitting on the bar while the server tried to find time to actually deliver them to our table. Definitely overpriced and underserved. Wouldn’t go back.

We had a nice date night dinner. It was relaxing, and our server Savannah was great. She was attentive, but she let us take our time and enjoy the experience. The braised octopus appetizer was awesome! The lobster Mac is on the appetizer menu, but definitely big enough for an entree, and very tasty! We look forward to coming back to Isa’s again!
