Iozzo's is a popular restaurant with my group of friends as it's close to our workplace. Everyone seems to love it and I cannot deny the service is top notch. I've yet to find a dish I really enjoy unfortunately. Their food is just too garlicky for me. I love garlic - in moderation. At least three of their dishes I've ordered previously has so much garlic that it's bitter and spicy. Last evening I was excited to try their new spinach and artichoke appetizer. The description sounded delicious. Ugh! I could not even eat any of it after the first bite. It was all chopped - including the garlic cloves - and spread on dry bread. This dish would be so much better with less garlic and topped with baked cheese. I also ordered a Caesar salad as I figured it would be safe from too much garlic. It was, but there was a slight hint of fennel that ruined the dish for me. Despite my lack of enjoyment of my meal, my group of friends raved about their dishes. Overall, I give Iozzo's 3.5 stars as I always enjoy spending time with my tribe there and I believe I'll eventually find my dish on their menu. :)

First of all the people are friendly, the food is good, and the ambiance is classy and romantic. However our service was sub par for this caliber of restaurant. This was our first time at Iozzo’s and it was recommended by my husband who takes doctors and executives here for dinners regularly. We were a table for two surrounded by larger parties and one of the very first reservations of the evening (4:15). Our server didn’t explain the menu, talk about specials, engage in any sort of conversation, or talk about bread service etc. We could hear other servers around us proactively talking about highlights of the menu, they had special Taylor Swift themed drinks and bread service and salad was included. Our waitress said nothing except are you ready to order… she never brought us bread and oil, messed up my salad order, and literally disappeared for an hour. We never got drink refills, everyone around us was offered fresh pepper and parm and we were not, and my daughter waited so long to find someone to get her steak sauce that her food was then completely cold. It seemed our server was more concerned with her larger “big ticket” tables and also preoccupied by some sort of rumor/ controversy bc we would see her whispering and laughing behind a wall with another waitress. I’m shocked this is the type of service my husband would recommend but again he’s a “big ticket” table. Our bill was near $200 but no matter how much you spend every experience deserves the same attention.

I had never been here before, in town for the Taylor Swift concert, quaint and scrumptious Italian restaurant.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary with Dale as our server. The place wasn't overly crowded when we arrived, but it wasn't empty either. There was a group of about 6 people to one side, and a couple of tables of 2 on the other. The larger group got rather loud talking and laughing as though they were in their private home (or at a ballgame might be more fitting). At one point, one of the ladies in their group suggested they quiet down a bit, which was greatly appreciated. Our server was good, but he was so constantly rushed we felt as though we were being served in a speed-based restaurant. He talked so fast we could only catch a few words of what he was saying, he was flying by us grabbing our used dishes and asking how things are, etc. It just wasn't the relaxing evening we had hoped for. The food, while being good rather than great, is still the best Italian we have found recently, so we will probably return for a second visit and go from there. Maybe next time we should go when it is warmer out and sit in their lovely garden.

Excellent food every time we go! Love the bread and house salad - my favorite entree is the eggplant parmesan. This restaurant does not disappoint!
