So yummy! Beautiful food with excellent flavor profiles and textures. One of the best meals I've had in NYC!

The restaurant features an innovative menu with novel variations on traditional Indian cuisine. Some of the dishes are outstanding, but you need to order a wide variety to find the best ones. The restaurant is comfortable and the staff is attentive. This is one of the best restaurants near Carnegie Hall.

First time dining here, and we had a wonderful experience! Each person in the group can choose a 3 or 4 course option. The accompaniments come with the main course. We went as a party of four, and these are all the items we tried. **Appetizers:** - Sweet potato shakarkandi, kohlrabi, crispy okra – We enjoyed this! - Kashmiri morels, walnuts, parmesan papad – It was okay, but honestly, we weren’t quite sure what exactly it was, lol. - Potato sphere chaat, white pea mash – DELICIOUS! - Lamb dahi vada, baked masala beet – SUPERB! My favorite! **Mid-courses:** - Pao bhaji, tempered ricotta vada, lime leaf butter pao – Everyone liked this. - Smoked eggplant bharta cornet, goat cheese mousse – It comes in a small cone, pretty good. - Prawns, butter-pepper-garlic, cauliflower – Extremely tasty! - Wagyu pathar kebab, bone marrow, fried garlic +15 – We all loved it! **Mains:** - Branzino, patrani butter, berry pulao – Probably one of the best things on the menu! - Chili crab, sago pongal, cashew pakoda – Very very good, tastes like lemongrass. - Beef tenderloin, Kashmiri apricot & mirchi korma, lotus root, turnips, leafy greens – Wouldn’t order this again, it lacked flavor. - Ghee roast lamb, roomali roti pancakes +10 – The lamb was fantastic! **Accompaniments:** - Wild mushroom kulcha, truffle butter – This was terrible, nobody liked it. - Butter chicken kulcha, sundried fenugreek – AMAZING. - Avocado & pomegranate raita – Nice! - Baby potatoes, Himalayan dog mustard seeds – Very good! I probably wouldn’t go back again, but it’s definitely a place I’d recommend going at least once. Overall, the food is very good!

This restaurant is quite elegant with the staff being extremely attentive, knowledable, and helpful about the menu. We ordered their prefixed brunch which started off great but as the main courses arrived, things took a turn. We were greeted by a small soup in a unique little cup and some cheese bread. This was quite good and a unique starter when you first sit down. After that, we received our pork ribs and a sort of curry and very fresh soft bread to dip into it. These were both excellent and I have nothing bad to say. Where things took a turn is when the main courses arrived. We received a beef bowl with egg I and what I can only describe as a lamb taco. The accompanying that was a garlic naan with dahl and a kulcha with butter chicken. Garlic naan with dahl (3.5/5) - The bread was not nearly as fresh as the bread that came for the appetizer portion but the dahl was good, a little heavy on the bean flavor but I enjoyed it. Kulcha with butter chicken (3/5) - Again, I get the concept here but I have had this done much better at other places with bread thats more fresh. The beef bowl with egg (2.5/5) - Upon first glance of this dish my first thought was Taco Bell. Unironically, it tasted exactly like taco bell ground meat with an over abundance of salt. The lamb [taco?] (2.5/5) - This was also somehow very reminiscent of eating a taco bell chalupa which let's be honest, is pretty good but just not expected or desired at a place like this. I found it to also be overly salty and too heavy to really enjoy. Overall, I would give Indian Accent another shot because the service was fantastic, ambiance, and half of the food we had was great.

I come regularly and the service last night was not up to the usual standard. They were in a rush to see us out. A bit disappointing.
