L'In Riva est la première entreprise du chef Arthur Cavaliere, né à Philadelphie, qui combine les similitudes entre ses deux villes préférées, Naples et Philadelphie, pour offrir une expérience culinaire sans pareil. L'In Riva, comme son nom l'indique, se trouve sur les rives de la rivière Schuylkill à East Falls. The bartender and cocktails upstairs at The Nook were excellent. My service rating is low only because of the FOH downstairs at In Riva who were clueless and kind of rude. Beware that if you make a reservation online for “bar” they’ll decide for you if that’s in the main bar or upstairs at the Nook.

To start it off the place is esthetically pleasing. We sat down and waited some time to get my order taken. The menu is very limited which isn’t an issue. The issue was that it was 30 degrees and the place had no heat on. On top of that the pizza had zero to no flavor. My Coca Cola had more flavor than my food.

The food was pretty good just the service was not good. Our waiter was not very attentive during our time at the restaurant and he barely acted like he wanted to answer questions we had on the menu. Will not be returning.

Our go to neighborhood place for a nice meal and drink. Always a very high quality experience. The arugula salad is outstanding.

Every time I eat here, I enjoy myself. I really wish they would bring back the pea soup. It's a crowd favorite!

The food is consistently good as is the service. I never feel rushed and the staff is always helpful and eager to make your meal a great experience.

It was cold in the restaurant and the table was wobbly. Aside from that our waitress was terrific - she couldn't have been better. Food was good and served hot. I'd go there again, but maybe not until the Spring.

I love In Riva! The food and service are excellent, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. They are kind to children, and accommodate their needs in a very thoughtful way. Parents can request small pizzas for each child, served very rapidly. These little pizzas are very popular with my grandsons. In Riva is a delightful restaurant, and my family and friends love it.
