Il Posto Trattoria is a quaint restaurant located at the north end of the city, in the beautiful Napa Valley. We specialize in traditional Italian cuisine with ingredients from Italy and locally grown.
Il Posto provides a warm, comfortable and non pretentious atmosphere with a variety of food options for all ages alike. Walking into Il Posto is like walking into a Trattoria in Rome or Venice, yet it is here in the Incredible Napa Valley! Our menu includes a variety of salads and house made pastas, in both small and large portions. We serve rustic pizzas and classic Italian dishes like Chicken Picatta, Ravioli and Veal Saltimboca. Each of the 4 of us ordered something different and we were all extremely happy with our choices. Our server was attentive and friendly. Thank you all who made our experience great !

after eating alone at the bar having a nuked eggplant I thought I would give it another try. The 2nd time it was spot on. Maybe table service is always better than having a bartender serve you and trying to multi-task Lived the Petrole sole, salad with peaches and pizza. ( lighten up on the pizza sauce though)

We had the BLT pizza, calamari, meatballs, polenta, and broccolini. The food was fabulous, service spot on, and we truly enjoyed ourselves. It was quite noisy, but it was also dinner in a Friday night. Would visit again!

Always have wonderful meals and great service here. Alexis always is so friendly and accommodating. We always try to ask for her when we are going to dinner. Great place and a good staff all the way around. The calamari with sausage and fennel makes my mouth water just thinking about it. I wish they would also make that a big bowl of soup . Some of their delicious bread and that’s all you need for a meal. Just delicious.

Service was great and quick after a long day of traveling. Food was average at best. Don't waste your money the prosciutto and melon appetizer.

The main pasta dishes were overly salty but had good flavor. The cantaloupe and prosciutto dish had a ridiculous amount of meat— there was barely anything at all. The bruschetta was tasty. The complementary bread served was very stale and the second portion was a completely different (and still stale) bread. The service and ambiance were good.
