The experience was not bad not great. Restaurant is a bit tired and definitely needs a renovation upstairs. Bathrooms were old and smelly, dining area needs a facelift. Service was okay, at times we didn’t see our waiter for a long time, had empty drinks, no water on the table. Food was just okay - I can cook Italian better at home. The pasta tasted like it was cooked this morning. The portions also weren’t consistent; two people at our table got the same meal and one plate was heaping and the other was barely a plate full. I wouldn’t rush back!

Service was fantastic! Really attentive and very kind. Food was delicious and the pastas were the star of the night. Highly recommend taking a visit to Il Postino. Make sure to make a reservation beforehand as they can get quite busy, but it’s just that good ;)

We made reservations with two kids, one needs high chair and one still in a stroller. They put us upstairs… we had to lift the stroller up the stairs… they also offered “kids” pasta with alfredo sauce, good thing I tried and took a bite first. It was super salty! Even for an adult! They made another one and it was still salty… My daughter didn’t even like it… First time when dine at the restaurant I had a truffle pasta and it was delicious. The truffle was strong, but not overpowering. I ordered the same one again and it was very disappointing. Unfortunately, I don’t think I will be going back…

We’ve been many times and have always had a great meal and service no matter what we order. Took friends for the first time and they also really enjoyed everything.

I just want to say that their ragu tagliatelle was particularly well done. It was al dente yet fully cooked, unlike some other Italian restaurants we've been to.

I booked a reservation here for my boyfriend’s birthday for Saturday 21st. left a note that it was his birthday along with his nut allergy. Ws so excited to show his one of my favourite restaurants however Our service tonight was probably the worst service I’ve had in a while. We were seated upstairs, there was one large table of maybe 6 people seated across the room from us. This table appeared to be our servers MAIN focus. Checking up on them, constant refills, conversing with them every chance she got while my boyfriend and I weren’t checked up on, didn’t receive the complimentary bread that she brought to EVERY table in front of us, and simply made herself unapproachable. People who came in after us received their food before us, it took very long for us to even get our appetizer. Our server approached our table a total of 2-3 times and the only time our she actually acknowledged us & tried to have a conversation with us was when the bill came. Mind you this was one of my favourite restaurant that I have been to several times prior with friends and family However This type of service has really ruined my experience with this restaurant.
