Food was spectacular and so was the service. Always very pleased with the food and decor. The only thing this time was that the gentleman at the table next to us spent the lion’s share of the hour loudly complaining about everyone he’s ever worked with, and since the tables are close together, there wasn’t much we could do except try to tune it out.

Nice selection of entrees along with a solid wine list. Portions were ideal. Service was attentive, but not intrusive. Ambiance was pleasant and ideal for quiet conversation.

I always look forward to dinner at Il Porto when I come to Old Town. This time did not disappoint. Great specials; I had the salmon and the wine was perfect. Highly recommended - all the time!

I’ve eaten regularly at Il Porto for 23 years; food is some of the best southern Italian in the area! Some of the staff had been there for years and never disappoint.

While everything was wonderful, the price for the wines and the pear appetizer special were a little higher than I would expect. The entrees and dessert off the regular menu were by contrast great and a reasonable value.

Excellent food and drinks. Server was friendly but inexperienced - long waits for drinks and check. Bar not appropriately staffed for a busy weekend night. Will return, but not on a weekend.

Went to celebrate a birthday (actual day) and indicated the birthday when making the reservation. Never got a birthday greeting and we arrived with 2 birthday present bags in tow. No complimentary dessert for the birthday celebrant. The food was good and we all ordered dessert and drinks but it left a bad feeling when the birthday wasn’t acknowledged.
