We had a wonderful date night. There was elegant Jazz music and the food was impeccable. We absolutely love dining at Il Porto.

Our dining was perfect from cocktails to wine to appetizer through our dinner. Everything was delicious. And our server, Raef was great too. Thanks for a perfect dinner experience!

Sat outside because the setup created on that block makes for perfect outdoor dining. The service was prompt, not rushed, and friendly. Had the Crepe Chicken from the special and would definitely have again. Lived here 30+ years and wish I had tried here sooner. Thanks for a great dinner!

Our reservation was for 7pm. We were in the area and arrived an hour early. We met the owner at the door and he was happy to seat us earlier. We ordered the Insalata Cesare and Insalata Tritata. Both of them were nice salads. We decided to share an entree. We chose Pollo Siciliano and substituted pasta spaghetti for the Alfredo pasta. I love bread and it was soft and fresh. The waiter Raef was very attentive and helpful. He has worked there for 39 years. I highly recommend this restaurant for a delicious meal and a wonderful experience.

Couldn’t be any more pleased with the food; from appetizer to main course to dessert, everything was perfect. Table had a great view of Old Town below. Service was great too. The only negative was that there was a fair amount of food on the floor under our table, probably from the people before us, and the restaurant was pretty busy and a little understaffed.

We’ve been going to Il Porto for many years and this was our most disappointing experience. It appears that they were short staffed as our server was managing outside tables and inside tables. The poor guy was running all over. In addition, the price had increased over the last few years. You used to get a salad but that option is no longer a part of the meal. In addition, the recipe seems to have changed for the red sauce as the spaghetti and meatballs seemed different - and also a smaller portion. We still love the restaurant and the staff. It just seems that the experience hasn’t elevated despite the higher prices.

fettucine was super thick and hard, didn’t enjoy it at all. Service was somewhat neglectful. overall the food, service and ambience left much to be desired!

I've been eating at Il Porto for the past 25 years, even as recent as 4 months ago, Last night me and my party spent over 200 dollars to sit there uncomfortably for 90 minutes. WE HAD reservations and they still stashed us away upstairs. Even worse the greeter tried to put 4 of us at a table that could barely hold 2 people then had an attitude when I asked to be moved to another table, which BTW was not much better. Our server never even asked us if we wanted bread, I had to ask near the end of the meal. The service was not terrible, just below par but I the young lady was very nice. I do not think I will be going back there anytime soon, perhaps maybe never again. I could have a better experience elsewhere for less than half of what we spent last night.
