Le restaurant Il Palio a été nommé ainsi en raison d'une course qui a lieu chaque été à Sienne, en Italie. Créé avec passion, le restaurant a été superbement conçu et magnifiquement décoré, avec des matériaux de partout dans le monde. Aucune partie n'a été laissée au hasard et le temps n'a pas été compté pour trouver exactement ce qui était nécessaire pour faire de ce rêve une réalité. L'atmosphère ainsi créée est confortable et calme, dans un décor rappelant une villa italienne. Great first time dinner at il Palio and it was perfect! Beautiful restaurant, professional staff and delicious food! We had a salad, calamari and 2 pasta dishes. We were too stuffed to even look at the dessert menu! The bread was incredible too. Once I saw who the chef was I knew exactly why it was so good! I knew her restaurant and reputation in New Canaan! I’ll be back to il Palio for sure… can’t wait!!!

This is my new go to restaurant in the area, simply the freshest cuisine that I've had in Connecticut. Hats off to the chef, well done.

I had the Gnocchi di Patate Dolci con Costine Brasate al Nebbiolo Sweet Potato gnocchi with Nebbiolo braised boneless beef short ribs, and it was outstanding! The service was friendly, knowledgable and attentive, making for an excellent experience!

Amazing from beginning to end. Service was great Isaias was awesome as well as the rest f the staff. Truly authentic Italian the chef is world class. You are greeted by the owners of the establishment which says a lot that they are involved. Bathrooms are fresh and clearly attended to frequently. Overall experience was excellent.

Very nice upscale experience. Service is exceptional. Food is very good. It’s a bit more of an energetic setting as opposed to a quiet dinner. Should a flatbread pizza be $25? I don’t know anymore. But overall the pricing is not unreasonable up and down the menu. Overall one of the higher level dining experiences in the area. Very pleased.

I love the ambiance and especially the service at this restaurant, although it is a bit on the pricy side, the food is good- but it's the ambiance and service that keeps me coming.
