We were out of town looking for a nice place for dinner and this was a fabulous win! Hopefully the leftovers can survive the trip home.

Il Palio was a wonderful experience. The food may have been some of the best I ever enjoyed. The staff was so pleasant and very attentive. The wine list was very well chosen. The customers ranged from children to much older adults and all were very well accommodated. I would highly recommend Il Palio for any group for lunch or dinner, whether business, a family party or a romantic night out.

I arrived earlier than my client and was greeted at the front door by a very profession and kind young lady. Once I was standing at a high top near the bar waiting for my client, the bartender offered me a drink. I declined but he offered me an ice water which was really great to have after a ferry ride and drive from Long Island. Once my client arrived, we were seated and taken care of by our waiter. The food was terrific from start to finish and I will be back again. Thank you for your attention to detail.

Il Palio never disappoints. I’ve never had the same dish twice there, and each time I’m blown away by the deliciousness and presentation of each meal as well as the quality service. This restaurant is a rare gem. Last night we indulged in dessert and was graced with strawberry shortcake with strawberries from our local farm (Jones). Il Palio will remain one of my top 5 in Fairfield county.

I went here to celebrate my anniversary. The restaurant is beautiful. I was greeted by a friendly hostess. My server was attentive, and friendly. My meal was delicious. The drinks were tasty. I tried a few of the desserts and they were great! I would highly recommend visiting this establishment for a fancy occasion. It did get busier as the the night went on.
