Impeccable service, imaginative drinks and dishes (home made pasta is perfection) in an elevated and warm environment. Whether on a date, special dinner with friends and family, this restaurant will not disappoint.

Another great dinner at Il Palio. Sat in the bar with longtime bartender Joe and he makes you feel like you’re in his home kitchen. Halibut, pasta dish, tuna, appetizer, and Piedmont salad. Everything spot on. One of the best restaurants in Fairfield county.

Il Palio is an amazing restaurant. The food is just delicious and the service is excellent. We felt like VIPs from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. We highly recommend Il Palio.

Great experience as usual. Special wedding anniversary (59 years), and no better place to celebrate. Excellent meal, great waiter. Unfortunately, the noise level was atrocious. Table of three behind us was lit, and really loud. Table of 4 close by was as bad. Poor waiter had to shout the specials! Fortunately, they left in a reasonable amount of time. I do not recall it being like that on previous occasions, even New Year's Eve. Perhaps, it was a one off. Next visit, I will ask to move if it repeats. Still one of our favorites for special occasions, and we intend to try the Prix Fixe lunch.

This restaurant is consistently excellent. Food and service are both great. In this visit, I was seated in the lower level of the restaurant which is extraordinarily well decorated. The noise level was much better than I've experienced the upper level

Beautiful presentation, delicious flavors, excellent service. However, expensive (especially appetizers), small salad and pasta portions, very noisy, no bread, and, did I mention, very loud. Plan on $100 pp

Food is always excellent. We missed the reading of the specials vs a print out. Usually the server has a nice accent and it’s nice to hear the specials. Otherwise perfect food!
