Food was very good. Service was excellent. The only suggestion I have is that the lighting was a little too dark. I had difficulty reading the menu as a result. Other than that, my wife and I enjoyed it and we will be back.

For old time Italian food where you are overfed, Il Mulino never disappoints. Excellent food, great service and an impressive wine list.

Extremely disappointing! Il Mulino used to be a traditional Italian restaurant with a classical European old-world feel. Now it’s become a crowded, very loud, very crazy place with waiters running all over the place, poor service, and a very poor modern decor. A MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT!! I used to love this place. It was my favorite Long Island restaurant. Now I’m never going there again.

I had a 6:00 pm reservation on a Saturday evening; I called saying I was running 13 minutes late - person on the phone gave no issues at all. The block of Parmesan that comes to the table is absolutely delicious; my brother wanted a second piece and they were happy to provide. The lychee martini was made well and arrived prior to meal. We ordered the pounded thin veal scaloppini w/ broccoli rabe & cherry tomato peppers 🌶️ as well as the special short-rib ravioli. These dishes were beautifully split for two people — thank you! Both dishes were highly enjoyable, and I am pleasantly satisfied by that ravioli! I do not have ravioli often, but this was one of the best I’ve tried. We also ordered the filet mignon ragu over gluten-free penne, nother dish that was prepared and tasted great. Service was one of the true highlights of our experience. We will return in the future✨

very difficult to talk to anybody my table the restaurant was just completely overcrowded overpacked first time ever .

Had the evening dinner special which was good, not exceptional. The red tomato sauce for Steak pizziola was very average. It lacked a heartiness that one expects from this dish.
