Our first time visiting this restaurant was very surprising. First, I want to say the restaurant was clean and felt like home. Seeing the kitchen with the pizza oven was amazing. Second, our waiter (J--) was outstanding, he was so kind, friendly, welcoming and he goes out of his way to make a conversation. I like that fact that he took in consideration of my food restriction. No one has ever done this for me. I highly recommend this place! the food was like homemade very favorable.

We were greeted by a friendly host person upon entering. After being seated, an enthusiastic wait staff had us enjoying drinks while they clarified a few items on the menu. Soon we were enjoying a delicious appetizer before the main courses were served. All dishes were fresh and delicious. Really cannot think of anything negative to say. We will return.

The food is very mediocre, the service is very slow. The manager is very unpleasant. You don’t feel welcome in this place.

Honestly I was pleasantly surprised and super happy with the service the food our waitress was amazing and it was perfect! I was a little hesitant coming from NYC about how the Italian food wood be in McAllen but it was pretty good

I had not been here in a while. I had been told by a friend that she hadn't gone back because it wasn't as good as it used to be, but I wanted to give it another try and I am glad I did. The food was delicious. The service was a tiny bit slow, but the server was really nice and helpful. Best part is that we got 2 bottles of wine that were priced very well, comparatively speaking. I won't wait so long before I go back.

Have been a loyal customer of this restaurant since it opened - food is still exceptional, but the service has really declined. Our server would constantly disappear for long periods of time (was nowhere to be seen), took well over an hour to get 2 pizzas and a spaghetti…and every table that got seated 30-45 mins after us got served before we did. Such a shame that cooks deliver their end, but a sloppy server can ruin an entire dining experience. Restaurant was only half full on a Saturday night…now I know why. I’m ok paying $150 for a pizza dinner (with appetizers and wine), but I’m not ok spending 2 hours to enjoy it due to a careless server who more than likely forgot to submit our order. For the record, we ordered the pizzas and spaghetti AT THE SAME time we ordered the appetizers and bottle wine - the appetizers and wine came quickly….but then had to wait well over an hour for the pizzas.
