Il Cantinori, situé à Greenwich Village, a été à l'avant-garde de la cuisine toscane à New York depuis son ouverture en 1983. Cette ancienne ferme dotée d'une chaleur rustique, de murs en stuc, poutres apparentes et arrangements floraux volumineux offre une ambiance romantique et élégante. Le restaurant combine les saveurs traditionnelles uniques de la campagne toscane avec un menu complet de saison, pour le dîner et le souper. Il Cantinori is a gem! The food is wonderful, the atmosphere is very special, and the service is top notch. My server, Leo, was a delight, and all the members of the staff were excellent. I wish I could come here more often; when I visit New York I try, but the restaurant's popularity keeps me from being able to do so! Nevertheless, I will always keep trying. Thank you for great time.

Always great! Had gin and tonics and Moscow mule for our son for cocktails—very good. We shared a Caesar salad 3 ways to start, which was excellent. Then got the lemon burrata pasta for the middle of the table. Our son had the veal parm which was huge with the bone in—quite spectacular—and vodka sauce. He says it would be his “death row” meal. Husband and I shared the bucatini alla gricia—outstanding! Just like carbonara but without the egg. We may like it better! Service was first rate. Flowers and ambiance were lovely as always. We will be back!

What a wonderful evening! We haven’t been in awhile but so glad we returned! Such a beautiful romantic comfortable setting! The food from the veal to lamb to the veal carpaccio to the Caesar salad was exquisite! Excellent wine and desserts also! Service was incredible! Gabriel our server couldn’t have been more efficient kinder and professional.. all the staff was wonderful! Will definitely be back… a real pleasure

Fantastic! My friends and I had an amazing experience dining here. The staff was so welcoming and attentive. The food was 10/10. I will definitely be back.

This is my favorite restaurant in New York and I make sure I eat there each time I am in town. It’s has a neighborhood feel to it and the team there makes you feel part of the family as soon as you walk in. The food is fantastic! The lemon ricotta pasta dish was the best pasta I have ever had.

Always seeking quiet, calm dining experience in NYC. Hard to find but, particularly for lunch with the windows open in nice weather, il Cantonori nails it!
