Il Cantinori, situé à Greenwich Village, a été à l'avant-garde de la cuisine toscane à New York depuis son ouverture en 1983. Cette ancienne ferme dotée d'une chaleur rustique, de murs en stuc, poutres apparentes et arrangements floraux volumineux offre une ambiance romantique et élégante. Le restaurant combine les saveurs traditionnelles uniques de la campagne toscane avec un menu complet de saison, pour le dîner et le souper. Great atmosphere! Excellent service. The veal was amazing- tender, flavorful. The mixed fried seafood was very good. The flourless chocolate cake was fantastic- lighter than expected. The pistachio ice cream that came with it was the best I ever tasted!

I eat out a great deal and I’m a foodie. I rarely give poor reviews but this time unfortunately I must. I found this restaurant hot, crowded and noisy That being said I was very disappointed in food and preparation. Appetizer with mushroom arugula tasted like cardboard. The branzino was served unattractive and was tasteless. The prices and food prep are unjustified. So disappointed

Outstanding experience from the moment we stepped inside. Wonderful atmosphere, incredible food and fantastic service. It was a special meal to celebrate my daughter’s engagement, and we will always remember that special and delicious dinner. Thank you so much.

We sat outside and unfortunately there is scaffolding there right now. It’s not very pleasant eating outside under the scaffolding. We did that because it was too cold inside as the air conditioning is set a bit too high and the noise level inside is very high. Finally the food is mixed. Some dishes are excellent and some are very so-so. For the price the quality should be higher.

Everything was wonderful. The waiters were attentive. The ambience was wonderful, and the food and wine were on the money. Definitely recommend the pappadelle and the scallopini

The food at this restaurant is outstanding. I wish it were a bit less expensive, though! Also, I wish people in a romantic restaurant could learn to be quieter.
