We were seated in an intimate table for two in the garden. Service was quick, delicious bread was brought out. Our drinks missed the mark by being way too sweet (we didn’t order fruity drinks) but the ginger carrot soup was on point. My husband had the red snapper which he said was too dry for his liking and my mushroom risotto with tofu had a funny taste. They read my remark on the reservation about my husband’s birthday and brought out a desert with candle which was extremely thoughtful. They ultimately comped my dish which I didn’t request but it was appreciated. All in all it’s a beautiful place, attentive service, and was very happy that they went out of their way for special occasions.

Very scenic table by the poolside. Definitely recommend for a romantic date. We went for paella night and based on other reviews we thought it was going to be served table side, but we were asked to take our plates to the paella station and line up to be served. So this was a bit of a disappointment. We had both the seafood paella and the chicken/chorizo paella. Both tasted very good but would recommend going with the seafood one as it was more interesting with a wider variety of ingredients and types of fish. Would definitely return.

The best part about Ike’s is the friendly welcome from the entire staff! The cocktails and food were pretty good as well, and that is why we return time after time, Of special note were the appetizers, fresh cevich and shrimp and scallop duo, and the excellent Martini and Gin Gimlet.

The ambiance at Ike’s Bistro was very calming and relaxing. The appetizer (Caribbean seafood salad) we as exquisite - just like other times. The special of the day was okay - fish was cooked right and vegetables as well but lacked flavor for my taste. The menu selection was acceptable. Service was good - a little slow but good.

Wonderful Vegan menu, I had a hard time choosing and ordered way too much but enjoyed everything. It all had so much flavor and such interesting ingredients. The drinks were so refreshing. The basil martini is hard not to have 2. The desserts are works of art. Beautiful ambience too with lots of options, including sunset views.

The food service and ambiance were great. Loved sitting in the garden area. It allowed you to order from all the restaurants on premises. Wonderful dining experience

Stephanie’s always makes this an enjoyable experience. Always smiling. Always recognizes us when we come in and takes time with us to catch up. We always look forward to seeing her. She is the main reason we visit Ike’s every time we visit Aruba. Food is also worth coming for. Salmon and sea Bass was cooked to perfection.
