Ida Claire est un restaurant funky et influencé par le Sud des États-Unis. La nourriture est typée du sud, mais avec des inspirations de différentes régions. Vous y retrouverez des plats typiques dont vous aurez certainement déjà entendu parler, mais avec des touches spéciales. Les sandwiches sont servis sur des « biscuits » (des petits pains traditionnels du sud des États-Unis) et on y sert le combo classique sucré-salé « chicken and waffles » (du poulet frit servi sur des gauffres). Le brunch est typiquement américain. Les cocktails ne sont pas en reste ; elles sont des interprétations de grands classiques revampés avec des ingrédients faits maison, comme le Mint Julep. Ida Claire produit ses propres bitters et son propre gin. Le décor a également une influence du sud avec son charme d'avant-guerre et son élégance polie. On retrouve ces éléments très clairement dans la roulotte « airstream » garée dans le jardin et réservée pour les réservations VIP. Vous vous y sentirez comme chez un aristocrate du sud aux goûts extravagants... pas exactement ce que vous vous imaginez!

    If you want a quiet meal, this is not the place to go. It is very energetic and the crowd is loud. Great comfort food and seafood. If you're counting calories, count this place out. The service was outstanding. Always checking on our drinks and if we liked our apps then our meals. Second time here. We'll definitely be back.

    Our server Jaylen was very, very good. He knew every aspect of the menu and his suggestions were perfect. Fun atmosphere and each dish was amazing; an inventive take on southern cooking. A favorite spot now!!

    The food is always amazing - heartwarming, joyous, and celebratory. Our server was kind and welcoming. When he was at our table, we were served well. However, we had at least 3 instances during our service where he was too busy with other guests to attend to our needs. Our youngest diner waited more than 10 minutes after the rest of us to get her food - I’m guessing it was never ordered? During that time, two other servers tried to help us because we could not locate or get the attention of our server. A drink we ordered came late, and then two other expeditors kept trying to bring us the drink again - I’m guessing since the first order was botched. We never saw anyone who looked like a manager, or we would have said something about our experience. Overall, the food was great and the service confused and inattentive. Given the experience we had, it was definitely not a great experience.

    Waitress seemed to pay more priority to other guests than us forgetting my receipt and the butter on my cornbread. Reservation made for a booth and at check in only had high tops so opted for outside which was hot but much quieter than inside.

    Consistently really good food. Consistently noisy environment. Service a bit slower than usual, although the server was very pleasant and familiar with the menu. It was a busy lunch crowd so I don’t give this a lot of weight. I like this place and recommend it.
