Hy's warm resort-style and central location is second to none for private dining. Our stunning restaurant can play host for any occasion, from the most formal reception to the most casual get together. We can comfortably accommodate up to 18 in a semi-private dining room, but arrangements can be also be made for parties from 60-120 in semi-private areas of the restaurant, or in some cases, full restaurant buy-outs. Amazing service! Food was delicious. Perfect medium rare filet and the Steak Diane prepped tableside was gastronomical. Will be back!!

Everything was alway 5 star for us. And our server John was amazing!! Made our Whistler trip even more incredible 🙂

We had a wonderful dinner. It was outside peak tourist season and our seating was at 5:30. Our server was excellent. Attentive but didn’t hover. We enjoyed a tomato’s soup, beef Wellington and a steak Diane. The Diane was done tableside and tasted great. We felt like guests at Hys.

Great steak. Great service. Well trained and connects to the guest. Music was strange and loud. If I wanted to eat at a Abercrombie and Fitch store I would have chosen it. I don’t see myself as outdated. But this was not right for what I expected in a high end restaurant. The mashed potatoes were bland. Zero seasoning. Used the outstanding creamed corn to get flavor.

Our servicer was friendly and outgoing. I had the beef tenderloin, it was delicious, my husband had the surf and turf, lobsters was great, steak slightly chewy. The creme brulee was outstanding, best so far.

As always the food never disappoints when dining at Hy’s. We were a bit disappointed with the service. We had friends with us who did not speak English very well and the server had no patience for the translating back and forth even though the restaurant was not very busy. It definitely dampened the experience as we have experienced it differently in the past.

Love Hy’s. Great food. Love the Caesar and Banana Foster made right at your table. Waiters and waitresses can’t be beat. Been eating here for twelve years.
