Hy's Steakhouse applique une politique de code vestimentaire strict. Chemise à col et chaussures fermées sont obligatoires. Les maillots de bain ou les casquettes sont interdites. Hy's Steak House est un restaurant primé au cœur de Waikiki. Ouvert en 1976, Hy's est un favori des locaux et des visiteurs depuis près de 40 ans. Les spécialités de Hy's comprennent le boeuf qualité USDA Kiawe, l'agneau succulent, les fruits de mer, ainsi que des préparations de nombreux plats classiques.     Hy's has always been my favorite place to eat in Waikiki. Fantastic service and food, beautiful ambiance and a strict dress code. Highly recommend.

    We visited Hy's Steakhouse during our honeymoon, hoping for a special dinner, but it turned out to be a disappointing experience. The food was just okay—nothing particularly memorable. However, the real issue was the service. While the food came out quickly, the staff were incredibly rude and unfriendly. There was no sense of genuine care or hospitality, and their lack of basic courtesy left a bad impression. What was supposed to be a celebration turned into a frustrating evening. If you’re looking to create special memories, I’d recommend choosing somewhere else.

    Great ambience. Great service. We shared the filet mignon, and it was very good, but was over-smoked (very, very smoky, the smokiest meat I've ever eaten). We loved the lychee non-alcoholic drink, the crab cake, the fois gras, and the bananas foster dessert! Great service!

    William, thank you for sharing your experience! We apologize for your meat being "over-smoked." We cook all of our steaks on an open fire using Kiawe wood (Hawaiian Mesquite). Understanding that some may not prefer this, we have an exquisite Beef Wellington prepared off the grill, or we'd be happy to accommodate a different cooking method upon your next visit.     I normally order the half rack but our Captain, Brett, let me know about a special. I think it was called a Sher ribeye and he described it as somewhere between USDA Prime and Wagyu. I tried it and it was, without a doubt, the best steak I have ever had! The dining room was quite busy and Brett was all over the place but, as usual, he provided amazing service. I noticed that even from the far side of the dining room, he is aware of what is going on and what is needed at every one of the tables he was overseeing. Outstanding professionalism!

    Best steak house on Oahu. Old world charm still exists. Service impeccable. We return each year when we are on Oahu.

    Be mindful of their dress code. Beach attire will NOT work here. That said, a great dining experience.

    Great Hy’s service. Nice table side Caesar salad. Good steak. The seasonal veggie’s were loaded with garlic powder and were not good.
