Hy's Steakhouse applique une politique de code vestimentaire strict. Chemise à col et chaussures fermées sont obligatoires. Les maillots de bain ou les casquettes sont interdites. Hy's Steak House est un restaurant primé au cœur de Waikiki. Ouvert en 1976, Hy's est un favori des locaux et des visiteurs depuis près de 40 ans. Les spécialités de Hy's comprennent le boeuf qualité USDA Kiawe, l'agneau succulent, les fruits de mer, ainsi que des préparations de nombreux plats classiques. Hy's jouit d'une liste exquise de vin avec un accent sur les rouges des vignobles les plus réputés du monde entier. L'ambiance vieux monde est classique et très confortable.     My wife and I had the most amazing experience and meal at Hy’s, while we calibrated our 25th Anniversary! I would recommend Hy’s for anyone who loves steak.

    Great food and incredible service as well. I do wish they would enforce the dress code more strictly as it is a high end steak house and it is clear what the dress code is when you book the reservation.

    Hi Jeffrey, I am so sorry, I thought I had responded to you. I appreciate your input and many of our guests also appreciate the fact that we have a dress code as they often come to Hy's for special occasions. I just wanted to let you know what the dress code here is. Men are required to wear closed toe shoes and collared shirts. Beachwear and gym-wear and baseball style caps are restricted.     やっぱりハワイのステーキハウスではハイズがダントツですね👌 パフォーマンスも含めて他とは別格です。予算が許すなら絶対オススメのお店です

    The service was superb. Loved the waiters, they were all so easy going and fun to talk to. The food was more than we expected and more. Planning on going back, every time we visit the island. So glad we found this place. Recommend menus are the garlic steak, Caesar salad, the baked potato on the side and chocolate lovers’ flambé.

    The food was really nice and the waiter was lovely. We were celebrating my birthday and he lit a candle on my desert and took our photo to give to us printed. The service was slow considering the section weren’t too busy.

    Hy's food and service was excellent. Not somewhere we can afford to frequent, but it's a nice treat every now and then.

    First time back since Hy's reopened after renovation, which was mostly to the kitchen. Same wood/library ambiance, menu, stellar service, table side dishes and desserts. Best steakhouse in Honolulu.

    Booked Hy’s because it’s rated the best steakhouse on Oahu & it’s been some time since we’ve stayed in Waikiki, I wanted to treat my wife. You can definitely tell the place has been there for 40+ years as the decor inside is representative of the “old fashioned” steak house & a bit dated. Not sure if they were short-staffed on Sunday but our waiter was running around like a chicken with its head off, to which he acknowledged. Took awhile for drinks to show up, appetizers were decent: the wife had soup which was good & I had Caprese salad which had little cheese & balsamic but many tomatoes. The bread basket was minimal & we were told it was a $1 per piece after the first small basket of 4 strips of bread - I can’t remember having been to another upscale steakhouse that charges for additional bread as there’s no need to based on the menu prices we’re already paying. The wife ordered a filet which was decent - comparable to Flemings. I ordered the strip & asked for it well done - think what you want but that’s how I like my steak. The steak was brought out to me medium rare, I alerted our waiter to this & he took it back for them to throw it on the grill for maybe another 90 seconds. It came back medium, which I would’ve just eaten to eat it & be done. However, there was absolutely no taste/seasoning to the steak. My wife tried a piece & agreed - said it tasted like it’d been boiled. The manager came over & we discussed the issue, to which he said at one point: “we’ve had other complaints about the seasoning of steaks so I’ll have to revisit that with our cook staff.” I told him I wasn’t eating the steak & he offered to remove it from the bill & asked if he could get me another steak, which I declined. He offered a dessert & we shared the bananas foster, which was the best part of the meal. The gentleman who made the dessert kept us entertained & was great. Would not return & would not recommend; not sure how this is the top-rated upscale steakhouse?

    I frequent high end steak houses and this was the best steak I have ever had!! The atmosphere was fabulous and the service staff very attentive. Pricey but worth it!
