Usually one of my favorite places to go but the food was off at my last visits. The Brussels sprout appetizer was not cooked all the way through and lacked flavor. My Caesar salad had brown lettuce all throughout. Not the best experience but I will go again because of my many other positive experiences

Presentation of food was interesting. Would have liked them to wait until we finished our appetizer before bringing out the main course. Desserts were great.

It’s nearby and available. That’s about the best to say. Hubbys pot roast was cool to the touch yet dried out. My salmon piccata over angel hair also featured cool pasta in thick lemon cream. It was ghastly. But salmon was warm. We wondered if anyone in the kitchen takes pride in their service? Service excellent. Oh well.

Overall, a truly pleasant dining experience for classic tavern cuisine in a relaxing garden enclosed patio. I had the pulled pork sandwich, fried green tomatoes and Calimari. The pork is raised locally and much of the produce is grown from nearby farms. I would recommend it for an enjoyable afternoon lunch for two or more. The spacious parking lot was also easy to enter and exit.

Hunters Head Tavern was recommended by a friend who has dined there. It was very nice. We ate inside as a storm was approaching and the young man who seated us asked if we wanted to sit outside but mentioned the storm. I thought the tables were small and not much room with all the dishes, glasses etc. We sat by the wall for a table of two. The restaurant was not crowded and I would have preferred a bigger table. I would have eaten outside on the patio if the storm was not coming as the tables in the courtyard were much more favorable for dining. I am sorry I have to say something about the tables and seating as the establishment needs to be more cognizant of the diners having diner in the establishment. No one wants to feel "squashed" when having an enjoyable evening out Overall, the food was delicious. Drinks were excellent. Waitress was very friendly.

Had another wonderful lunch at Hunters Head Tavern. My wife and I ate outside on the patio with our dog. Wait staff was attentive including a fresh bowl of water for our dog. Had their BLT sandwich with home-made bread and locally sourced tomatoes and bacon - it was delicious.

Fish and chips were wonderful! Friendly service, great bartender, management covering the floor checking on things. What more could you want?

Lovely restaurant with delicious food and great service. Went for brunch/lunch and we loved the eggs Benedict. Would definitely come back if we’re in the area again!
