Great service by Tyler…food very good We were next to large birthday party group who were extremely loud Management should have told them to take it down a notch or two

Food was very good, crab finger sauce was fabulous! Great night to be outdoors but city jack hammering was an issue-not the restaurants fault. Think the wine is a bit overpriced or maybe need more choices.

From the greater, to the server, to the food - great experience. Love they offered not only brunch but if someone wanted something off the dinner menu...they made it happen. We will be back.

Please note: Noise rating is for outside seating. TLDR: Go for the oysters, return for the service and beignets! This is my third or fourth time going to Hugo‘s oyster bar. We went this time for my birthday. If you are looking for a place with a high-quality, variety of oysters in metro Atlanta, this is the number one location to visit. If you have interest in other creole food, my previous position was don’t go to Hugos, after last night, I am officially changing my answer, the oysters are just the beginning. They have updated their menu to include more refined options, and higher quality versions of the classics. We had the trout dip which was incredible. My only note would be. I wish they had like toast points, or some thing with it, but it is a great option for a light starter. Also had the garlic butter beignets, which are incredible. My husband got the jambalaya. I got the mac & cheese mostly because I was so focused on eating oysters. But both were satisfying and beautifully done. We had a couple of cocktails, both their versions of the old-fashioned, the dirty old-fashioned and the tequila. The Old-fashioneds were delicious, very sweet, but they do have a great selection of whiskeys and bourbon so if you’re looking for something that is more straight Boozy with an old-fashioned. There are lots of great options. I also had a glass of wine. Despite the high quality and delicious food the service is the reason Hugo’s is a destination. They have a very young-appearing weight staff, that are very attentive and seamlessly cover the space as a team. Jake was our main server, but I have to get credit to the front of the house manager because the server team worked so well together and I could definitely tell that they prioritized service and getting food where it needed to go, instead of territorial handoff.

Enjoyed Hugo’s the Branzino and Crawfish fried rice was delicious. I tried collard greens way too spicy for my taste. Hailey was a great server.
