I have dined at Hugo’s Cellar for over 35 years. The food, service, and “Old Vegas” ambience is always stellar! I am disappointed to see that on my most recent visit that not only have the prices tripled, but the portion size of their famous salad is smaller, and their complementary chocolate covered fruit is no longer presented on a generous silver tower, but instead on a small plate with 1/3 of the portion size. I realize food costs are up, but for over $350 for 2 people with no alcohol or soft drinks, Hugo’s can do better if it wants to retain its place as Las Vegas’ best gem.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. The restaurant is in the basement of a casino and I was a bit skeptical as we entered, but the ambiance is very nice. The staff and service were outstanding, and the food was very good. Waiters wear tuxedos, but attire for diners was very eclectic. All women are given a rose upon entry and a vase in which to keep it during dinner. I ordered a cosmo and it came in a small carafe in an ice bucket, and was probably equivalent to 3 full drinks. We were served sorbet before the main course to cleanse our palates, and a warm towel after dinner to wipe our hands. Dinner includes bread with butter, maple butter and assorted salts, salad made individually at table side, and complementary chocolate covered strawberries, apricots and dates. Although the menu prices seem high, when we considered everything that was included, the ambiance and the service, we found it was well worth the price, and really not much more than other restaurants where we got much less for our money.

We ordered New York steaks with all the trimmings. All the food was delicious! The extra touches…red rose for the ladies, lemon sorbet palate cleanser between courses,special birthday dessert & card were all so nice!

Wow! All 4of us; this was our first time dining adult Hugo’s. It far exceeded our expectations! I don’t think anyone has ever felt as special as we all did at Hugo’s. The food was out of this world ! The wine spectacular!! From prime rib, to shrimp, salmon, veggies, surf n turf, scallops, everything was above delicious. Then dessert! Chocolate covered strawberries, dried apricots and dates. Delicious! We all said we would definitely be back! Thank you to the staff who made our dining experience so memorable and special! ❤️

Great experience. Servers are very nice, gave us a little surprise for our anniversary. Bread /crackers and butter were really good. Salad was fun and very good. Have to be honest though the dinner was not the best. For the money the food should have been better. My husband had beef Wellington and I had a filet. Was really no flavor, same with the fingerling potatoes. Just very bland. The experience was fun and all the small little extras and detail made it worth it.

Food and service were outstanding! Edy was very nice and accommodating. He took great care of us. Loved the atmosphere! Highly recommend!

Hugo's is the best! We discovered it on our first trip to Vegas and made sure to book a return visit on this recent trip. The ambiance, the table side salad, the tuxedos, the roses, the steaks - it's such a special place. In all of Vegas' glamour and excess, Hugo's Cellar is the best kind of traditional restaurant - dependable, delicious, memorable, and as full of glamour as everyone brings with them! Highly recommend!

Food and service excellent. Ruined by an obnoxiously loud group occupying 3 tables of 6 people at times screaming. They had a great time while the rest of us in surrounding tables frowned in disbelief of their rude behavior. Only issue is management should have asked them to bring it down a notch. But never happened. We will try it again for sure.
