We've been to Hudson Grill many times, and usually have a good experience. This was the worst. We waited over an hour to get our food. Four different servers stopped by our table, so we didn't know who our server was. I'd ask a question, and the server would disappear. Literally every table with guests seated after us got their meals before us. I was told it was because the kitchen was under-staffed. No, that does not explain why other guests got their food before us. I don't fault the servers, as they were having to deal with other irate, confused guests. I fault whoever was the manager that day. Once the food comes, it's good. Not always the best value, but we go for the experience. Sadly, this was the worst, most chaotic experience we've had, really in any restaurant. Because this is such a lovely place, and our previous visits have been very good, we'll give them another chance. Fingers crossed that management works out scheduling and assigning servers' sections.

I love eating in the restaurant because , for me, it is part of the experience of being at the Garden. The food is very good but, again to me, your prices are VERY HIGH and then to be charged an extra $4 for Fries????

We spent the morning walking around the botanical gardens, and had made a lunch reservation at the Hudson garden grill. We arrived early and they were able to seat us immediately. We were greeted and given menus and tap water right away. The waiter was polite and professional and we did not have to wait long for him to take our order. I had the crispy chicken sandwich with bacon and cheese. It comes with aioli which I requested on the side in case it was too spicy for me. My daughter had the harvest burger with fries. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals and left very little on our plates. The meal was pricey, but it was a special lunch and we definitely felt special.

They were adjusting to a new chef and a new menu. There were issues getting beverages. They were very apologetic and adjusted the bill. I hope it gets better. We enjoy the location and atmosphere and some of the menu items.

After a couple less than satisfactory visits, I think the restaurant is back on track. I do hate the processing of credit card table side where tip is there. One feel obligated when the waiter is standing right there and looking at your tip choice.

The food was very good with excellent portion size and a lovely presentation . We were disappointed that two of the starters were not available. I was really looking forward to the zucchini chips which are excellent. The service was a bit slow as it was a special Members Day at the Garden. Will definitely return!
