Located on historic Congress Street in Tucson, HUB is right in the heart of all the excitement that downtown has to offer. Our dining room gives warm romantic vibes, while our patio comes to life with the greenery, and night life. With our locally sourced ingredients, we’ve created an elevated American cuisine while embracing the taste of the southwest. Make sure you leave room for our famous homemade ice cream with flavors such as Bourbon Almond Brittle and Oatmeal Cookie Dough. We’re also proud to offer our dine-in guests complimentary valet or self parking for 2 hours. This service is offered at The AC Hotel, located directly behind HUB. The wait staff was great as was the Loaded baked potato soup. The turkey BLT my wife had was very good. My "THE HUB" was just okay. Having lettuce and tomato on a hamburger is fine but when you add Pastrami, not so much. That's my taste buds talking. The Cole slaw was bland. Please note The Hub is currently closed so your reservation will be handled at The Playground restaurant on the SW corner of Broadway and 5th. Very nice place.

Beware, call a human to make your reservation or to get clear descriptions of the seating options. When I made the reservation via OpenTable, there was two options of seating to choose from, with no descriptions: "Patio" or "Other". Knowing it would be chilly at night in December, and didn't want to sit near the crazy loud Congress Street on that small patio I chose "Other". When we got there, found out they have no idea what "Other" means there, and we were placed exactly where I was trying to avoid, next to Congress Street, subjected to blasting racing engines the whole evening (luckily wasn't too cold that night since they only have outdoor heaters on the "Patio", which turns out to be a very nice sheltered area at the rear of the restaurant, away from the loud street traffic of our "Other" patio).

I understand that the location you’re at right now is temporary but that patio is wonderful! My family and I had a great time celebrating my sister’s birthday. The food was excellent so was the surface.

The change in location to the Playground was of surprise. The menu has been limited and the quality of food was not great for the price. Disappointed to say the least. Service was great. If you want bar food this is a great place to meet.

Disappointed we weren't forewarned the Hub is closed for Reno's and we diverted toa very noisy and crowded different restaurant.

The HUB and Playground are all one now, so the experience was completely different. We went to the HUB for particular menu items such as Ahi Nachos and Brussels Sprouts that were no longer presented. The food was good, but the menu selection was limited.

Love,love, love the Hub! Cheese curds alone are the reason to go, but great wine list. My Caesar salad with flatiron was perfect! Hubbie had his usual Randi, which was awesome. Had high top front row for the football games! Margaret is just amazing…took care of the whole dining room for our afternoon and was always right on it for drinks, refills, etc…Always just the best! Thanks!

Reservations are definitely needed. During renovations it's rather crowded but they are doing their best. Nice for a before show dinner. The service is efficient. Food moderately priced.We enjoyed our dinner.
