UPDATE: HUB is currently operating out of PLAYGROUND until early fall 2024

Located on historic Congress Street in Tucson, HUB is right in the heart of all the excitement that downtown has to offer. Our dining room gives warm romantic vibes, while our patio comes to life with the greenery, and night life. With our locally sourced ingredients, we’ve created an elevated American cuisine while embracing the taste of the southwest. Make sure you leave room for our famous homemade ice cream with flavors such as Bourbon Almond Brittle and Oatmeal Cookie Dough. We’re also proud to offer our dine-in guests complimentary valet or self parking for 2 hours. This service is offered at The AC Hotel, located directly behind HUB. So disappointed. Didn’t realize they are in the Playground Bar right now while renovations are being done at their place next door. Menu is much smaller, food not as good and it is so loud with the music from the Playground upstairs and we were there at 5 pm. Won’t be back until renovations are done in 2025.

Kitchen was in disarray during our visit. Food took well over an hour to come out, and was cold. Waitress and staff were no where to be seen. All the tables around us had no food and were also receiving no service. Manager was not apologetic. We have visited the restaurant a number of times in the past with no issue. This was about as bad a visit as you can get.

The actual restaurant is temporarily closed we were in area next door but same kitchen. Our app arrived before our drinks. It took forever to order and get our food. Then is was cold and not even close to the quality 6 months ago. It was not that busy. Service was so slow and as we were leaving the bouncer was very rude. Did not realize they closed entrance so they could check ids for the bar crowd.

It is temporarily housed in Playground, which I didn't enjoy the bar atmosphere at all. All high-top seating, TVs playing football, and loud music of a genre that is grating. Yes, I'm a boomer 🤪 Good food & great service, though. Won't be back until they are in their newly renovated space later this year.

Had no idea it was in playground. Music was very loud and obnoxious due to an event upstairs i assume. I’ve always had a great experiences at HUB. This time i was left disappointed due to the location and noise level. The food was also subpar. Overall, i will not return.

Hi Stevona, I apologize that we did not deliver for you during your last experience. While we appreciate that we have the opportunity to offer HUB dining in Playground while we are remodeling HUB we need to do a better job managing the noise level of special events on the roof so that they do no degrade our dining experience. I am disappointed to hear that you also didn't enjoy your food. Had a delicious dinner last night on the Hub’s new misted outdoor patio, where the temperature, food, and ambiance were wonderful. Hope to return again. Highly recommend if you are downtown.

The service was outstanding, even though it was very, very busy. Our server was excellent (Matthew). The HUB is presently in the Playground Bar and Lounge building, as they are doing remodeling at the HUB's location. The food was wonderful - Matthew recommended the "Peach Cobbler Cheesecake" and it was heaven. Even with how extremely busy it was in the restaurant, he stopped and made us a fresh pot of decaf coffee. I would give the HUB a "10".
