D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : Ouverte depuis 1949, cette adresse légendaire est la plus réputée des steakhouses de San Francisco. Love the food and service they have. The cosmopolitan drink was great. Love how when you finished the Kings Cut, you can get a small cut on the house. Can’t wait to come back again!

We’ve eaten here multiple times and this time our server was not attentive and did not seem like he even wanted to serve us. He was slow and we were waiting for a very long time to receive our bill. Eventually we waited it out too long (I naively thought that the ice cream that was supposed to come with the kid’s meal would be on its way but it never arrived...), and had to ask the hostess for the bill so that we can leave and even then there was still a delay. It was not even that busy at that time, as many tables had left and it was getting late (8:30pm). Food was ok, meat was great but sides were a little salty. I’m not sure if we’d return though because tonight’s service was not up to par.

The House of Prime Rib has been our favorite for years and it never disappoints. Food is always good and the service is great. Highly recommend!

So yummy! Definitely a special occasion type of place but such a cool experience. Highly recommend booking a reservation in advance for a special occasion- so delicious! I’m not a huge steak eater but this was some of the tastiest meat I’ve had for sure.

I absolutely appreciate and respect the level of attentiveness by the staff at House of Prime Rib. I will say that I got an interesting seating arrangement but it did not impact the quality of service from staff. I had a phenomenal evening and enjoyed my prime rib seared!

I really don’t get what all the fuss is re House of Prime Rib. I wasn’t impressed at all. My prime rib wasn’t even tender. I was shocked when I first cut into it…had to work at it! The salad was limp and mediocre at best-none of our party of 6 finished it. The creamed spinach was tasty but it comes slopped on your plate like you’d get in a cafeteria (needs a bowl like the creamed corn). Someone came from behind (didnt even see him) and put a piece of Yorkshire Pudding on my plate- why not ask me if I want it before you put it on my plate? Also my husband and I ordered the baked potato -no one asked us what we wanted on it and it came loaded to our table. Again why not ask us what we want on the baked potato? Maybe it was a server issue. Although our waitress seemed kind she hardly talked to us…nor did any of the servers. We were first timers to the restaurant and a little more communication would have gone a long way. Drinks look big but they tasted watered down with ice from the first sip. I’m definitely glad I tried House of Prime Rib after all of these years but it was a disappointment. Like most people we waited a long time to get this reservation- probably 9 mos or so. Expected much better food and service. Service seemed chaotic, robotic and not individualized. We were here for a birthday celebration -but again no one asked or cared why we were there. Valet was great.

Per usual, an amazing meal and service. Our host and server were so great. Made our time here with our family enjoyable and they were very interactive with our children. Can't wait to come back.
