Le premier Hot and Hot Fish Club a été fondé à la fin des années 1700 par les planteurs de All Saints Parish. Le club social était consacré à des activités épicuriennes : cuisine gastronomique, boissons fortes et moments festifs. Le premier club se situait, selon certains dires, sur la légendaire Drunken Jack Island, à quelques kilomètres au sud du Hot Fish Club. Les membres du club d'origine ont décrit leur temps passé sur l'île comme étant les « heures les plus heureuses de leur vie ». Le club a été démantelé et fermé après la guerre de sécession. Un banc de sable toujours changeant, au large de la côte du Huntington Beach State Park, est tout ce qu'il reste du site original. Le Hot Fish Club se trouve aujourd'hui dans le plus vieux bâtiment de restaurant encore existant du Grand Strand. Le Hot Fish Club reste un lieu de rassemblement favori auprès des gens de la région et est ouvert à tous ceux qui cherchent des conversations animées, de la bonne chère et du bon vin, le tout dans l'esprit festif de son ancêtre. We finally made it to the Hot Fish Club after years of talking about it. We were seated on the indoor porch and had a great view of the marsh. Our waiter, Grant was very attentive and congenial. My husband had the lobster pasta and raved about it. I had the lobster pot pie and was a little disappointed. There was hardly any of the advertised seafood in it. I counted six shrimp, one scallop and no discernible lobster. But we will be going back and I’ll choose something else. I loved the atmosphere and menu choices.

We celebrated my hubby’s birthday at Hotfish club. The food and service was wonderful. The back deck and bar are separate from the main restaurant so many events can happen and all can enjoy in the manner they choose. My only critique is for the price perhaps linen at table would be more fitting. Other than that the lobster pot pie was the ultimate winner at our table. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area!

This is always our favorite place to dine! The blackened Mahi with crabmeat is the absolute best! But then so are the shrimp and grits! And you must try the beet salad! And the filet! I could go on and on! The service is exceptional and love that they do reservations. When you are in Murrells Inlet this is a MUST!!

Nice views of the marsh with very good food and service! We had the lobster pot pie for our meal and Bang bang shrimp as an appetizer. The pot pie was enough for us to split and plenty with the appetizer and complimentary bread. Food is very reasonably priced! We will be back!

The food was delicious and priced competitively. Becky, our waitress, was super. She offered suggestions on what to order and switch out so I could have exactly what I wanted. Thank you Becky. I would recommend this restaurant to both families and couples.

It got busy and our waitress forgot about taking our order for a little while…. The food came out fast once we did order, but for the price of the experience we would have liked more attentive service.

Food quality was outstanding, you can tell it's fresh. We had the local cobia and the grilled sampler platter. Also, try the fluffy key lime pie!

We enjoyed our dinner at Hot Fish Club! Definitely worth the value. Our server, Haley was very good. Keeping beverages full and bringing whatever we needed. Appetizers were delicious and hot. I was a happy girl! We had some friends in town and they wanted a nice seafood dinner. Hot Fish Club served it up.
