Thankyou for the experience. The food was ok, but not very flavorful. The fried fish was quite oily but edible. The pricing we accurate for what we ordered. The service was a bit slow, but we weren't in a hurry, so we didn't need to ask for a hurry up. (The server seemed quite inexperienced) The dining room was comfortable, wasn't overly loud or problematic. Was able to get a reservation easily. This was our first time going there. We may try again when we go back to Penticton.

We have gone to the HOODED for 7 years live across the street.. it’s so beautiful and the food never disappoints us.The value is definitely here for your money

Very disappointed-ordered oysters and they were not well cleaned . They apologized and removed from bill but big deal. They should have also removed a cost of appetizer when we declined dessert . Service was very slow . Beautiful piece of halibut was over cooked. Beautiful views but won’t return for food.

The young hostess is rude and not helpful if you don’t have a reservation. Menus weren’t provided when we were seated and we had to ask for service to order our meal and drinks. If you have a lot of time to spend, this is your place.

Food was scrumptious - fresh and flavourful. For starters, I had a salad with berries and my husband had the dynamite role. For mains I had sockeye salmon with basil sauce and my husband had a filet. The portions seemed larger than I remembered which was great! This restaurant is the only one I know of that offers both salmon and halibut. Our server was great. She was just the right amount of attentiveness. When I made the reservation, I asked for a booth and we got one which made dinner even more quiet and intimate. The view of course is fantastic - Okanagan Lake and mountains.

Worst steak ever from my friend who also said he loved garlic mashed potatoes but they had so much garlic in them he couldn’t eat them, the mushroom rotini was luke warm and sitting in oily sauce. It was very loud in there also. Not a good experience, I opted to take my friends from out of town and country there over Elma and was disappointed to say the least.
