Le Hondos est une destination de choix à Richmond pour déguster un excellent steak. Il vous propose une variété de morceaux de viande parfaitement vieillis, grillés à la demande et servis grésillants. Trois différentes coupes de filet mignon, du faux-filet Cowboy et du T-Bone de 680 grammes figurent au menu. Le Hondos est également spécialisé dans les fruits de mer frais, proposant d'énormes pâtés de crabe (sans aucun remplissage), des queues de homard d'Afrique du Sud et la « prise fraîche » du jour, pour n'en nommer que quelques-uns. One of my favorite local restaurants for lunch especially, amazing prices under $14 for a real hearty meal and white tablecloth service. Great dinner specials if you become a dining club member, it's free and worth the price of admission!

Soup and Salad were outstanding. Service was somewhat slow but very friendly and helpful. My wife and I were truly disappointed in our steaks; her filet and my ribeye were not very tender. We should have sent them back and asked for crab cakes who others in our group raved about.

Had another wonderful dinner at Hondo’s. Had the oyster appetizer and a small filet, which was cooked perfectly. Great service.

Our waiter was excellent. However, the food was similar to Longhorn Steakhouse but was priced about three times higher. The onion rings were thin and soggy. The spinach salad was overly drenched in salad dressing; it would have been better served on the side. The steaks were disappointing, with scarce sauce and crab meat. The asparagus was too thin and overcooked.

We were celebrating a birthday ~ we were treated royally by Jeff, our waiter. Food was delicious and birthday acknowledgment by Hondos was awesome ~ beautiful birthday cheesecake presentation. Lovely evening.
