The Dining Room est situé dans l'ancien salon et exhibe encore ses lustres en cristal originaux. Aujourd'hui peint d'un ton kaki chaleureux, la salle propose un mélange de confortables banquettes rembourrées, de fauteuils et de chaises plus classiques. Que ce soit pour prendre le thé et des scones en après-midi ou savourer un repas à plusieurs services préparé par le chef Steve Sperling, manger au restaurant Hobnob est toujours quelque chose de spécial.

La carte des vins propose le meilleur de Niagara, y compris une merveilleuse sélection de vins de glace, parfaits pour accompagner votre dessert de prédilection. Pendant les mois chauds, il est possible de souper aux chandelles sur la terrasse couverte avec vue sur le jardin et sur le plus ancien parcours de golf en Amérique du Nord.

Wonderful evening for our 40th anniversary! The food and drinks were excellent. Service from James was fantastic. Met another couple who got married on the exact same day we did and we’re celebrating there also. There are a few points of upkeep that could be made better on the patio to make it super special. Overall a great experience, and would definitely go back when we’re in the area when we want a special dinner out!

Charming, understatedly elegant. Superb and creative menu. Food quality excellent. Highly recommend for special occasions, or pre-theatre (Shaw Festival). Located in the venerable Charles Hotel, at the far end of "the main drag" of historic Niagara-on-the-Lake, adjacent to the golf course. Wine list mostly focused on local Niagara area wineries, all quite credible. Portion sizes are adequate; the presentation is artistic yet simple. In-house pastry chef has created some wonderful desserts. Coffee is served in individual French presses (not sitting cooking in a pot for who knows how long)- so freshly brewed on demand (very good quality, too). While a bit pricier than local competitors, it's worth it! I really think this place should be awarded a Michelin Star. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Never disappoints. We live close by and go reasonably often (breakfast, lunch and dinner). This was a special birthday occasion - always celebrated at Hobnob.

I had duck breast,it was a bit overcooked, rubbery. I like fois gras , it was a bit expensive, but ordered it anyway. It was OK,tasted like it was just taken out of the refrigerator and placed on a piece of soggy bread. Not good for the price.

If you have doubted finding a good value, delicious meal in a pretty NotL setting, try Hob Nob. Looking forward to a return trip for the generous, shareable Brussels sprout starter and the pretty, scrumptious cheesecake. A wonderful spot for a romantic celebration. Service was welcoming with excellent recommendations.

There is a dining room menu and a lounge or pub menu. In the pub you can choose from either menu but not in the dining room. Odd practice as we were unable to order a Caesar salad in the dining room.

We came to Hobnob for our second anniversary as we did for our first anniversary. Never disappoints ! We started with a few cocktails and had the charcuterie board for two- which was amazing. My husband loved it, which is no small feat. We then consulted James as the Somalia, who suggested a Cabernet franc B called Drea-amazing red wine!! . My husband had the lamb and I had the beef tenderloin- both outstanding . The service was a little slow on the entrée, but it was nice to drink wine and relax as it ‘rested’ before it came out. My husband ordered a New York style cheesecake we shared, and we both had a cappuccino to finish . Very nice finish. Kaitlyn was our server- was very impressive professional and friendly. We were seated at a nice table by the window, though it seated four- we enjoyed looking out over the golf course during our meal. Thank you again, Hobnob staff and Seth ,the chef. Everything perfect!!! 👍

Absolutely gorgeous location and ambiance. We only wish that the lunch menu had offered the same variety as the dinner. The trout meal was outstanding; the sandwich of the month was nothing special. Service was really great. We would come back
