Having Neleen, High Timber's Uber Maestro, make your dinner recommendations is a bit like having Von Karajan choose your classical playlist. And the Maestro knocked it out of the park this time. I couldn't resist my usual glass of Jordan Nine Yards Chardonnay as well, but the recommended Jordan Reisling was indeed the ideal match with Stellenbosch Scotch Egg. With the steak, as good as always, the 2018 Moveable Feast, a one-off-ish Malbec led blend from the Overberg by Bruce Jack, was off the charts. And the new Cafe de Paris butter with anchovies deserves a permanent place on the menu. Summer has gone, so High Timber's river views were pleasant background rather than the knockout they are in the sunshine, but it was still a cosy retreat for the evening as London temperatures finally start to slide. Lucas and the equipe brought efficiency and good cheer as usual.

High Timber is overly expensive for the quality of the food. I would recommend almost any other restaurant in London over it.

Fairly quiet restaurant with very very good food. Tables are more spaced out than usual which is a real selling point. Service was attentive. Altogether unpretentious, just great food.

Superb food and wine - unbeatable advice on South African wines , astonishing choice - and attentive service. Great lunch including fantastic venison : can’t wait to return for a long and extravagant evening experience !!

I have dined here a number of times. I try to go sometime during every trip to London. The food and service is always great. This time the food was absolutely outstanding. Order the venison loin.

Wonderful location with views over the river, the food was sublime and the service excellent. Absolutely perfect meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Would definitely recommend. Thank you everyone for a wonderful evening.
