Worst ocean city restaurant I’ve ever been too … and I grew up here …. Just keep moving. It’s bad. Food quality and prices are not good. Prices aren’t bad but when you layer on quality.

The food was old, the chicken and crabs were old. I’ve been here before and usually have a better experience, but this time it was nasty. I know what old, reheated crabs taste like, I didn’t even open or eat most of it because I did not want me or my daughter to get sick. There were flies everywhere and hard to enjoy our food. The restaurant is also very dirty, I don’t recall it being this way before, Higgins used to be our go to location, this was our last time dining here.

Table was ready right away. Food was awesome waiter was even better. Overall great experience. Roof top eating is the best.

Not a great experience… flies everywhere (they need to close their open-air bar), crab legs were water-logged, rest of food was sub-par.

We came to the Higgins Crab House on 31st St. for the first time. My husband got the steam pot which he enjoyed very much. I got the steamed spiced shrimp which is a favorite of mine. I will never turn down your hush puppies. Our server was very attentive and helpful. She did an awesome job.

Off season at the beach so was a treat to find this place. Crabs were good size, pricey but competitive. Enjoyed ourselves!

Not bad but definitely geared towards tourist. Service is average had to ask repeatedly for some items from the server. Not the cleanest of facilities but what you get for a beach town touristy place.

After reading some of the reviews, I was apprehensive about my group going but I saw more good than bad and we ventured over to Higgins as planned. I am glad we kept the plan as the food was pretty good. The portions are very good. The shrimp (steamed) looks as though it lacks seasoning but was packed with flavor. The Alaskan crab leg prices make you think you are going to get a cluster... not so. The price is for 2 pounds and it ended up being three clusters. I was prepared to have to pay for the extra add-ons but was not necessary. The only thing we did not care for, as a whole, was the fried chicken that goes with the all you can eat meals. It was a little overcooked or dry. Maybe they sat. Not sure but that does not take away from the other food (salad, corn, hush puppies, apple sauce, etc.)
