We LOVED our dinner at Hemenway's -- classic food, ambiance & service. Our food was very good, and our server Teresa was exceptional. Overall, a wonderful evening out!

Our waiter Bob was exceptional. Ask to be seated in his section. He made perfect recommendations and was attentive without being overbearing. A true professional

As I indicated in the ratings, the experience has outstanding. The waiter (Brian) was excellent. It was our firstt ime there. He helped us understand the menu. The pace service was fine...there was no pressure to hurry. Access to parking is excellent. Also, it's in a gret area to walk around. It won't be our last visit!

Great place! Food, vibes, ambiance was amazing. We did the outdoor as it was a perfect summer day, overlooking the park and greenery all around. Service was excellent, food took just the right amount of time to come out and it was delicious.

My wife and I had reservations for a late lunch on Friday at Hemenway’s after walking around Providence. We were greeted pleasantly by the hostess who sat us at a nice table by the window. We were soon greeted by Kimberli, our server. She provided water and relayed the specials to us. We decided to explore the restaurant week special where we could enjoy an appetizer, an entree and a dessert for a fixed price. We essentially shared everything we ordered starting with a tasty cucumber salad and New England clam chowder as our appetizers. The salad was freshly made and the soup was hot and very flavorful. For entrees, we shared a seafood bouillabaisse and a stuffed lobster. Again, the seafood was fresh and very tasty with a beautiful presentation. After finishing both, we soaked up as much of the bouillabaisse sauce as we were able with our bread. A flourless chocolate tort with fresh whipped cream and a raspberry finish along with a hot peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream were the perfect desserts complemented by a fresh pot of French press coffee. The food was beautifully presented, fresh and flavorful. The pace of the meal was excellent as we did not feel rushed but well attended by Kimberli who was pleasant and informative throughout. Hemenway’s was a truly excellent dining experience.
