We sat outside and there were so many motorcycles and loud cars going by that everyone (including the staff) was annoyed. The food was mediocre in my opinion for the options in the Northeast.

My husband and I had a wonderful time. It was his Birthday and we had the best waiter. Our waiter’s name is Nikanor and he was wonderful. Thank you

We were celebrating our anniversary and were in Providence only for a day. The service by our server Amy was exceptional. She was caring and warm, and recommended the best way to make the most of our dining experience. Personally, the noise level was louder than I prefer but not a deal-breaker. Would definitely visit again for the lobster and the service :)

The view is everything. The food is delicious and plentiful and the service is excellent. The Rhode Island calamari is the die for.

Food was great - wonderful menu selections and our server Katie was so attentive and personable - made our dining experience outstanding. Great vibe throughout the restaurant - wish we had one in New York!

The food was delicious. The portions were a little small. Our waiter was very efficient. My biggest complaint was this is a nice restaurant and we dressed accordingly. There is a note on the door about proper dress required. Why are people coming in with cutoff denim shorts and graphic tee shirts. If I go to an “upscale”restaurant , then I expect management to enforce the dress code. It made a nice dinner feel not as special.

Had to wait almost an hour for our food after we ordered it. One meal Baked Cod was not good the fish was mushy and the spinach was cold. About the other meal, it was Salmon which a very light color. It was also mushy. This is the first time that I have a bad meal here. This is the first strike, one more and that will be it for this restaurant.

We LOVED our dinner at Hemenway's -- classic food, ambiance & service. Our food was very good, and our server Teresa was exceptional. Overall, a wonderful evening out!
