The Hearthside Dining Room at Elmhirst's Resort offers a unique farm to table dining experience. Guests are treated to a panoramic view of Rice Lake on arrival. The menu features Black Angus beef, raised on-site and processed to the Chef's specifications. Ducks, turkeys and vegetables are also raised on property. An All-Canadian wine list with 100+ labels complements the local food. Other venues include the Wild Blue Yonder Pub, a casual restaurant with a flying theme. Conference and banquet facilities for groups of up to 200 are available as well.

    Had a lovely conversation with our server Jordan after our meal. Service was great. Nice and quiet too. Food is excellent.

    Our Hearth Side Dining experience was exceptional. The view of the lake from our window side table was spectacular. The soft live piano music added a touch of sophistication. Our server presented herself as a professional and was very efficient and friendly. The delicious food was bountiful with much variety, and offered something to please every pallet. The server went out of her way to please my grandsons fussy disposition. We were very pleased with our brunch experience and will be visiting again soon.

    What a wonderful brunch . Perfect size with such a variety of fabulous dishes . I am so glad it’s back as it’s our number one pick for friends and family . So comfortable , views of the lake and tablecloths to make it just that extra special. But it’s also the staff . Fun and welcoming . Can you tell we love Elmhirst !

    Sunday brunch with a view. The food was excellent, a good choice on the buffet, and the view from the dining room overlooking Rice Lake is lovely. My husband wears hearing aids so we had to move to a table away from the piano player but the staff were happy to oblige.

    The service was very friendly and efficient, from calling to make a special request to being greeted at the door and the attention paid at the table. And what's not to love about dining overlooking a beautiful lake? It was a really pleasant experience.

    Fabulous ambiance and setting. Food was good too. Our server was superb! (Actuality left all the finished plates on the table until everyone had finished - as is proper!!! Nobody does that anymore.) Wonderful, as was her demeanour throughout. Only niggling thing was the number of flies haunting our table.

    Lovely dining room with a beautiful view of Rice Lake. Food was delicious, and our server Michele was wonderful. Will return!

    Wonderful to be able to attend a traditional brunch buffet again! Lots of lovely items to select from. Service was prompt, friendly and pleasant. Food was fantastic! Really appreciated that there were vegan options offered. We will definitely return!
