                Lovely restaurant with excellent service and all the waiters are knowledgeable about the food, menu and allergens. This was a second visit for 2/3 of us and it was just as fabulous as the first visit the year before. The food is absolutely fine dining.

                This was my feed to the hotel: Hi Ivy. Everything was great until dinner... and that was a terrible & disappointment experience! To say the least!!! We have cancelled our dinner reservation for tomorrow. The rest will be shared on Google, Facebook & OpenTable.

                Lobster extra was small and picked over. Maybe 1/3 meat that should have been. Very disappointing. Lamb was way overcooked. I ordered medium well. It was beyond f well done. No pink in sight. Sides were mediocre. Not usual my experience here which I have been many times. Will not return and not stay overnight. Spa was ok so probably never return there either.

                Lovely trip to the Millcroft. We brought an old vintage with us and the staff were very helpful in opening it and serving. Great food, only sad thing was the Pod being full of a nice party who seemed to be enjoying themselves too. Thanks Millcroft!

                We felt like the most important guests from the moment we walked in. Atmosphere was a little warm as the night progressed. Everyone was friendly, including other guests in the restaurant. Thank you for treating our table in such a entertaining manner, Fred.

                The first time we came the server was a joy. She was funny ,engaging and very attentive to our needs. This time was very different. The server we had was good but lacked an engaging personality also she had younger staff waiting on us so we really weren’t made to feel special. This was my 65th birthday and our 37th anniversary and frankly after spending $300 on our meal I expected something extra. A free dessert would have been nice. While we did get a message written in chocolate something just felt lacking. All in all I left feeling disappointed about the whole experience.
