Nommé en mémoire du Nicholas Hawksmoor Christchurch Spitalfields, juste en bas de la rue, Hawksmoor Spitalfields ouvert en 2006 à reçu des critiques dithyrambiques, consacrant l'histoire d'amour de Londres avec le steak. Our cosy basement bar will be open every Sunday from 12pm - 4pm, serving a special Hawksmoor Sunday Roast Menu and handpicked cocktails. We will be able to host groups of up to 10 people. Advanced booking is necessary, and parties will be seated in the Downstairs Bar. Unfortunately the bar area is not wheelchair accessible.

If you want an outstanding delicious Sunday roast then this place is a must! The hawksmoor stuffing is sublime and the food quality is excellent. Great service and a very lively atmosphere. Highly recommended

We went for dinner as a treat from my company for work well done. We picked Hawksmoor and weren’t disappointed. Starter - Unbelievable (Potted Beef with Yorkshire - Unreal. Salmon and Guinness Bread - smoked very well) Steak - Great - Chauterbriand more than we could finish. Sides - Fries, Spinach/Lemon/Garlic, Caesar salad. All very well made and great accompaniments. Would recommend to anyone

I found the food not value for money based on the serving suggestions, the male waiter tried to suggest a 400g steak for one person which both common sense and the menu itself suggested was too much. I also found his manner quite rude and unwelcoming, not checking after food was served. The serving staff were nice however! I wouldn't recommend Hawksmoor at this branch.

Great meal and service - really can't fault it. Tables quite close and next to a noisy party - not really in the restaurants control.

The Sunday Roast was excellent, with the chateaubriand perfectly cooked. Service was however abysmally slow and sloppy. Long waits for order to be taken, food to be served, completed dishes removed, etc. By the time the main course dishes were cleared, almost 2 hours from the time we sat down, we lost all appetite for any food and decided to skip desserts. Service was sparse and perfunctory. We were planning to celebrate a birthday, which the reception staff acknowledged and wished my friend happy birthday. We saw several other tables celebrating birthdays and had a little cookie/sweets on a small dish with a hand-inscribed happy birthday. We had none. The bill came really fast, as if the waiter couldn’t wait to get us out. Ruined the entire experience. Huge disappointment!

All together good. Abit noisy for my father. Verry good food and wine. Desent portions. Good service, but could have been abit more present.
