Récipient du Time Out Award pour le « Best New Restaurant 2011 » (meilleur nouveau restaurant de 2011), Hawksmoor Seven Dials a séduit ses clients et ses critiques depuis son ouverture en 2010. Le restaurant, qui dispose de 142 places, est niché dans une rue calme, au sein de l'ancienne brasserie Watney-Combe, dont il a retenu une partie de l'architecture originale. Had a lovely meal at the Hawksmoor , starting off with a couple of oysters , I had the Hake and it was cooked beautifully, accompanied with buttered new potatoes and buttered greens , the portions are very large and having visited before I declined the starter and pudding , the bottle of red Merlot was lovely though . I would definitely recommend and will definitely return .

Food was good as always but the problem with Seven Dials is the poor selection of beer. Honestly it’s so bad, No draught & nothing of proven quality especially for the price. Service was unusually slow today waited around 45 minutes for our meal. Waiter was good though & food was too so not all bad !

Hawksmoor was a bit of a disappointment and seemed to be trading off its reputation but not delivering. Average ambience, seating, service was mediocre, staff all had unmatching random clothes on, knives weren't sharp, bread was bland. Just felt very average and for anyone looking for a classy steak restaurant in central London, there’s lots of other better options. Very busy and felt touristy.

What’s happened to Hawksmoor? They wanted the table back after 90 minutes and the steak was far too salty.

This was honestly one of the best dinning experiences I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was fantastic, the architecture was beautiful, the service and staff were amazing and the food was incredible. I had taken a close friend out to dinner and the lobster starter was delicious! For the main we both had the fillet, medium rare. It was cooked to perfection. The white wine we chose was fragrant, subtle and kept cool. The deserts were delicious, not heavy; a perfect way to end the evening. Will definitely be making a reservation again soon.

We are not big red meat eaters and our tour guide recommended Hawksmoor for its fish. My husband had the free range chicken, and I had roasted hake. We both were very pleased with our entrees, and sides of cream spinach, new roasted potatoes and mushrooms. Our server was attentive and helpful. The only downside of our experience was the noise level, and for that reason the ambience and overall scores were a bit lower. That said, we would definitely recommend.

Our waiter, Colin, was fantastic. He made the experience of dining here that much better. The food was as expected, delicious. Highly recommend the spinach with lemon, and of course the steak!

Had a spectacular evening with my partner last Saturday. From the food to the drinks to the atmosphere, everything was faultless. I'm not even a dessert person but the sticky toffee pudding was ridiculously tasty. The quality of the food was definitely worth the price tag, I will definitely be coming back here.
