Récipient du Time Out Award pour le « Best New Restaurant 2011 » (meilleur nouveau restaurant de 2011), Hawksmoor Seven Dials a séduit ses clients et ses critiques depuis son ouverture en 2010. Le restaurant, qui dispose de 142 places, est niché dans une rue calme, au sein de l'ancienne brasserie Watney-Combe, dont il a retenu une partie de l'architecture originale. Dégustez des biftecks de portion généreuse, grillés au charbon de bois et faits à partir de bœuf de races traditionnelles britanniques fourni par les bouchers primés à The Ginger Pig.                                                                               What made our experience so good was our service. Amanda was our waitress and she was fantastic. Hawksmoor did not have iced test, but created a drink for one of us at Amanda's request. We have the Sunday Roast Feast, with the highest priced steak. It was cooked medium rare and very good. The gravy did have wine, which I should have realized given the name of the cut. It was good, but overpriced for the amount received. Another member of our group order lamb chops, not realized you were charged by the chop. We were compensated for the charge, as they assumed we wanted two. The potatoes and Yorkshire pudding seemed overdone to us, but other tables had the same (it may just be our preference). The food was good, but with all the reviews we read, we were expecting more. Amanda was definitely the highlight of our evening!!!! She was just lovely to talk to and explained the menu items.

                                                                              This is easily the most consistently good Sunday roast in London. I brought two American friends who'd never had a Sunday roast(!) and they declared they were now spoiled for the experience anywhere else. (One of them is virtually a vegetarian, who nonetheless devoured the meat and had more!)\ The only possible improvement would be if you offered a roast lamb option on the roast with all the trimmings menu.

                                                                              Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant, we were not rushed at all and given excellent advice from our waitress on the cuts of meat we chose. The food was excellent as was the wine. Staff members were extremely professional and friendly. We will definitely be going back!! 😍
