Le Hawksmoor Manchester est un restaurant de 130 couverts, le premier de la chaîne de restaurants Hawksmoor à avoir ouvert en dehors de Londres, doté d'un bar d'une capacité de 44 couverts présentant une décoration intérieure de style édouardien et proposant un menu composé principalement de steaks de bovins de races locales élevés en conformité avec l'éthique du Ginger Pig. Vous pourrez également y déguster des fruits de mer pêchés ou cultivés sur les côtes britanniques en respect avec les normes environnementales. Le menu comprend plusieurs spécialités créées spécialement pour le restaurant de Manchester, notamment des côtelettes accompagnées de macaronis. Le bar propose un menu composé de spécialités traditionnelles telles que des hamburgers au kimchi, des côtelettes avec une sauce française, des guédilles et du Poutine Barm, un sandwich alliant les influences culinaires de Montréal et de Manchester avec des frites cuites 3 fois, du poulet en sauce et du cheddar en grains dans un pain traditionnel servi avec une sauce d'accompagnement.

Second visit unfortunately not as good as the last year. The crab starter was fantastic but the mixed grill was disappointing.

No complaints, everything was great, service, food quality and taste was outstanding. Sweets were particularly nice, which I was really pleased with. Worthy of the price paid.!

The team were wonderful, very helpful, can't fault them at all. This wasn't the experience I expected. I think it's incredibly disappointing that - when paying £40 for a steak, just the steak is on the plate. It just looks unappetising and miserable. My steak was awfully undercooked, even the waiter was horrified at how wrong it was. He then said it would be 4-5 minutes and I waited over 10 minutes. My party tried to slow their eating down but their food was going cold. It really dampened the whole experience. Thankfully the steak was removed from the bill and it came with fresh sides. The drinks were great. Started was amazing, dessert was wonderful. But you go there for the main event. The refired steak was lovely when it arrived. Mistakes happen, it just wasn't what I expected.

If I could give more stars, I would! Hands down the best steak I’ve ever had (and I do love a steak restaurant). Can’t believe it took me so long to go here! Took the wife for her birthday, service was brilliant (they gave her a little fuss with candle etc…) and the team were awesome. Definitely be back!!!

Couldn’t fault the food , but it’s really lacking value. Prices really are out of control, food, but especially the wine. I appreciate the extensive selection but why no reasonably priced house wine . It just feels like the whole things got out of control price wise ..
