Big fan of Hawksmoor and been to number of venues on number of occasions. But this time it seemed like they had an issue in the kitchen - the caesar salad was absolutely drenched in dressing and the meat was terribly oversalted. Not the usual standard

I booked the standard table for 1 at 17:45 on 8th December 2024, I ordered 1 bottle of still water, I Gingerbread Man Christmas Limited cocktail, 1 Prawn cocktail, 1 Bitter leaf salad, 1 kg medium rare Bone-in prime rib steak with Bone marrow gravy source, 1 English lettuce & herb salad and 1 sticky toffee sundae. All food I mentioned tell their server is No Cheese and No Salt. Their chelf followed my order and did perfect in the grilling steak and processing greens. When I nearly finished my steak, their server had no my permission to take out my Bone marrow gravy source without asking whether I finished or not, which made me so angry. I detaily told this situation to their manger, their manger told me they would offer me the new source, but I would need to pay the source again. What a terrible service they doing, using guest's money to cover their mistakes they made. And this terrible service I still need to pay 12.5% service fees to them. I am acceptable to pay the 20% tax fees and the fees for the chef did perfect in my food. But I cannot accept to pay 12.5% fees for this kind of anti-socialist service. Genius service, please be carefull your unfinished food. Their server would take out your unfinished food without asking you whether you are finished or not. If the above situation happens, they will tell you they will give you a new food but it would charge you one more time on bill. The service of this restaurant is using clients' money to improve themselves rather than working to serve you. You will be so mad at their service, even you still need to pay this genius service fees in the bill.

Mixed reviews from our party. My wife had fries that weren't fully cooked and the bone marrow starter was mostly onion, not as good as the last time she had it. Cauliflower cheese was disappointing and didn't feel like it was properly cooked - I'm all for a little bite in my veg, but the cauliflower was still too hard overall. Roast was good. Rolo dessert disappointing and definitely not worth the money. Mince pies were superb. Overall was decent but a little underwhelming.

Phenomenal experience. Our first ever time dining at Hawksmoor. Staff were lovely, extremely warm and service was prompt. Food was second to none, our steaks were cooked perfectly. We also had a vegetarian at our table and she was also extremely happy with her Wellington. Deserts were off the charts too. Cannot fault it.... only comment was the beef sausage sides... I had presumed it was pork free as per the stuffing so I couldn't try this dish as I do not eat pork. Perhaps offer non pork 'blankets' with pork free sausages as an option?

The chips were too salty and the steaks were just okay. The Liverpool Hawksmoor is a beautiful looking restaurant and the steaks are outstanding. Felt quite let down to be honest.

The service and steaks were good. I was disappointed with the bone marrow being covered in carmalised onions which overpowered it. The lack of draft Guinness.

Our experience was absolutely incredible, the service was top notch and the food was one of if not the best meal I have ever had, could not recommend this place highly enough, will definitely return in the future

Fabulous service and amazing food . The steaks were superb and cooked to our liking . The service was professional and friendly and the whole experience ended a lovely to trip to London . Please can we have one of these in the North East
