Gagnant du 'Best New Restaurant' lors des Tatler Restaurants Awards 2012, Hawksmoor Guildhall est un superbe restaurant et bar en plein cœur de la City. Il offre « le meilleur déjeuner de puissance » (GQ Magazine) à la capitale financière de Londres et est idéal pour les réunions et le divertissement des clients. Le restaurant de 160 couverts est réputé pour servir des steaks de l'épaisseur d'un dictionnaire provenant de bovins Longhorn élevés traditionnellement par les bouchers récipiendaires de plusieurs prix de The Ginger Pig, vieillis à sec, ou pendant au moins 35 jours et cuits simplement sur un grill au charbon de bois véritable. La cave à vin est assez grande pour mener des dégustations permettant de découvrir une carte de vins et de portos extensive disponibles au verre, et le bar est tenu par quelques-uns des meilleurs barmen de Londres servant des cocktails classiques et des boissons originales. Featuring classic Hawksmoor staples, such as 35-day dry aged Rump steak with gentleman’s relish, alongside new dishes like the irresistible charcoal chicken Ana Mari or Chalk stream trout – you can then pick your favourite salad sidekick from a line-up of Hawksmoor Caesar, Heritage tomatoes, English lettuce & herb or Bitter leaf, blue cheese & pecan. A brilliant night. Sergio served us and he was brilliant. Made the best Irish and Caribbean coffees. The steak he recommended was excellent.

Still the best steak in London, shared the T-Bone this time, perfectly done. And BYOB Mondays is a genius idea.

Was disappointed overall. 4 people sat to dinner at 730pm on a Saturday, no surf & turf left. Was offered scallops and prawns instead of lobster which was fine but the dishes came out the exact same as the starters (on a seperate plate not with the dinner) and the prawns were a prawn cocktail so cold and not cooked to go on the steak but was still charged full surf & turf price. The steak was very dry, quite tasty but it didn’t look appetising as it come out on a plate on its own and very dry. No flavoured gin or Malibu. Wrong deserts brought out Only 3 beers consumed the rest were soft drinks and the bill was £556 for 4 of us. Which I was expecting but the food didn’t match the cost. Wouldn’t return.

We had a lovely evening celebrating our anniversary! All staff were super welcoming and the food was delicious. Our server Andrés was super! He gave us really great recommendations and made our night very special. Thank you so much!

Service was exceptional - friendly, attentive and not rushed. The food is always of good quality albeit my filet was more medium than rare. Chips and creamy spinach delicious.
