roast chicken with mashed: gravy not great, small dry chicken. Ribeye: cooked right, some flavor, SURE not worth the price. House salad not even great. I felt it had a bad odor to the place. Staff was nice enough, but we will never go back. VERY poor value.

Was there during holiday lunch rush. Service was excellent and bread pudding was to die for. Half the table ordered filets which is a nice cut but they came out cold and overcooked. It was a bit disappointing given the reputation of St. Elmo’s and Harry and Izzy’s. Shrimp cocktail never disappoints though.

Our reservations in the app was correct, but they had recorded it wrong. The result was three people seated at an odd-shapes table for 5. The wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The food took almost 40 minutes to arrive. The medium-rare steak I ordered came out medium-well and burnt on one end. I did not have time at this point to send it back. Needless to say, I did not feel as though I received $200 worth of dining enjoyment.

I love Harry & Izzy’s and have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. Tonight’s service was not good unfortunately. Our waitress was cold and unfriendly from the beginning. It took 20 minutes to get bread for the table and to place our order. The food was great as always, but really unfortunate service.

Fabulous downtown Christmas experience at Harry and Izzy’s! The French onion soup was out of this world. ( We brought our own scissors…) The prime rib sandwich was very tasty, but I could have done without the onions on the buns. Now. The service. H& I always has incredible service but on this evening, Sean (our server) went above and beyond!! Always attentive to our needs and my Coke glass was never allowed to be empty. Can’t wait to visit again in the near future.
