The atmosphere is so alive and energetic. We had dinner downstairs for my husband's birthday. It was our first time at Hal's and Bryan was the best server. He explained the specials and made great recommendations. All of our questions were answered and he was hilarious. Great place! Ask for Bryan that looks like Louis from Suits!

The food and service were truly excellent. I think this is among the best steaks in town. It’s too bad that inflation has increased the steak prices to a minimum of $70. It makes for a pricey evening. And the ambiance was too loud and too crowded for us. I had trouble hearing the other couple in our party. So, overall, a decent experience, with some downsides.

Totally packed Friday night crowd. Seated us 30 minutes late for our 20th anniversary dinner. Was very happy with complimentary glasses of prosecco and a lobster/crab appetizer. Our server Miguel was very engaging and did his best to make our special occasion more special.

The food is always amazing when we go here. However, when our bill came, the waiter tells us that an automatic 20% gratuity was added to our bill. Now it was only myself and my husband, so we were very surprised. This was our 3rd visit and the first time we were charged liked that. That was a big turn off for us, unfortunately.

This is a wonderful experience. Our service is great. The food was delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly both of the front of the house and each time they came to our table. Not smoking in the bar that drifted into other parts of the restaurant. All in all, it was a wonderful evening with great food, very friendly staff/service. Would recommend to anyone looking for delicious food, and a new experience in Atlanta.

Excellent as always. It is very loud on both levels, but upstairs is a bit better if you would like to talk to your dinner quests!
