Perhaps because it was mid week, but Hal's was filled with groups on expense accounts. Business people entertaining clients or potential clients & not a place I will ever go again for a romantic dinner. The food was EXCELLENT but noise level was off the charts. We were there to see an acquaintance who was playing live music & we were seated where we couldn't hear him & after dinner there was no room in the bar to be seated to listen either. A disappointing evening with a very high price tag.

We chose Hal’s because we know how amazing the food is. We had a great visit with two guess ordering steaks and the other two ordering seafood. All dishes were amazing. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday, and the server made sure to recognize our special occasion. Be sure to make reservations. The restaurant was incredibly busy and crowded on a Wednesday evening. That made for a very tight environment for seating and the servers to do their work. Still they made the best of it and we did too.

The food is amazing but the service is even better. Bryan Gonzalez made a great meal better. His knowledge about the steak cuts and wine made an already great meal better. If you are in Atlanta, Hal’s is the place to be. Ask for Bryan. He will make it that much more special.

The food is incredible. However, you can tell they are a quantity over quality as far as customers go. They have everyone watching to get you in & out as fast as possible. We felt rushed instead of being able to sit back and enjoy the dining experience.

We had a fabulous dinner from appetizers to desserts. Doug, our server, was excellent and a total joy to chat with. He made the experience complete because the food was as advertised, incredible.

We always try to include Hal’s in our trips to Atlanta. Good is phenomenal. Filet is perfect . Oysters and shrimp remoulade were fantastic.

Lifetime Atlantan, but this was my first time visiting Hal’s. It’s tucked behind a shopping center and was a little hard to find but thankfully we found it. I ordered the filet and it was undoubtedly the best steak I have ever had. It was cooked to perfection and literally melted in my mouth. I highly recommend the brussel sprouts as well! We went to celebrate our anniversary and they made it very special, including a complimentary dessert. Can’t wait to go back!
