Le Hali'imaile General Store est le restaurant original et le plus applaudi par la critique du chef Bev. Il sert des spécialités américaines aux accents asiatiques. We love this place and come every time we visit Maui. The food is always delicious, local, fresh and plentiful. Nice atmosphere. It can be a bit loud. We will return again!

One of out favorite restaurants on Maui. The food and service is always excellent. I love the seafood, my hubby loves the ribs! We were here to celebrate my husband’s birthday with friends, everyone had a great time.

Tried every recommended restaurant in maui from friends and family. This was by far the best meal we had on our trip. The Sashimi Napoleon was incredible as was the Mahi Mahi. The atmosphere was perfect with a great temperature, service, and open air feel in cool farmhouse setting. Drive through the hills was also beautiful. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a high end meal in maui.

It was the best food we have had on vacation. Love spending time at this restaurant. Their drinks, appetizers and salads are excellent and the presentation is awesome!

Our table of ten for dinner on a Sunday. Server was a bit slow and his assistant missed plating three of us. Also the same three were not asked if they wanted dessert but the rest of us were asked. Dinner was delicious and served hot. The Rib Eye steak was a bit fatty for the high price. Scalloped potatoes were ok but not what I expected for the high price. The fish special was delicious and filling.

Was a nice dinner for a late birthday outing. Food had good flavor - few dishes changed re tofu only being blackened and seared (previously could get small pieces fired in the coconut curry for example). Also there are no changes allowed re vegetables which seem to be prepared ahead of time and put in baggies. Not something a high end restaurant usually does. So we could get rid of mushrooms in the veggie dishes or add other veggies as a substitute. Sashimi was excellent as always. Mahi Mahi was a bit different that prior visits but okay. Only one salad was vegetarian. Burrata was the best before but off menu.

Been going to this classic restaurant since it opened, under the ownership of the renowned Bev Gannon. It was an instant hit with fresh fish and coffee rubbed rack of lamb back then, and Francesco has captured that original excellence with his take on Maui cuisine. We hadn’t been here since he took ownership about four or five years ago, and we weren’t disappointed. Great selection of Maui favorites, both mauka and makai, and well priced wine by the glass. Highly recommend to tuna noodle bowl, and the short rib. And the atmosphere, just comfortable. Just a great easy going vibe. Enjoy!
